Profile Painting

Chad and his associate did an excellent job, as usual. He did a pretty extensive amount of patching and caulking due to some kitchen remodeling we had done. He was punctual and was careful to cover the floors and cabinets / countertops. He always does a neat job and is very fair with his pricing!

Profile Painting applied stain to our brand new cedar deck in our backyard and around the seawall in September 2012. 3 coats of stain were applied and we were told the the sealer could wait until spring to be applied. 4 months after the initial application, we noticed peeling and now the entire deck is peeling off, so much you can pull it off with your fingers. I initially contacted the owner in February and said he would come out and look at the deck. 2 months later, after never looking at deck, I was told by owner via voice-mail that deck stain is not warrantied and not refundable, especially if the deck is less than 6 months old and if sealer was never applied. I am not sure why they did this job, fully knowing the deck was 3 months old and then stating it did not need to be stained until springtime. Additionally, stain splatters were left on our boat which we were able to wax off and a few on our new brick wall which appear to be permanent. We are now left with having to hire new contractors to remove stain, sand wood and re-apply stain. This is costing us several thousand dollars out of pocket, Needless to say we are extremely disappointed with this company and do not recommend.
