They seamlessly replaced the many boards that had damage, even added a cosmetic ceiling under a side porch. It looks like a new home. Additionally, they are really easy to work with. They were respectful and unobtrusive despite our many guests in and out while they were working. Have already signed up to have them back to power wash and stain the decks next year. "

When applying multiple coats, wait four to six hours for each coat to dry. Not waiting long enough can result in streaks, peeling, and uneven color. Plus, it will be more difficult to discern where the second coat has already been applied.

You can paint over old paint on a concrete porch. For the best results, you should first clean the surface and remove as much paint as you can. Applying too much sealer to a deck might seem like extra protection, but it can cause more harm than good. Wood is a porous material with a limited capacity to absorb liquids. When you go overboard with sealer, the excess can't soak in and instead forms a film on the surface. This leftover layer is prone to peeling, cracking, and trapping moisture, ultimately defeating the purpose of sealing in the first place. 

Satin is considered one of the best types of paint for baseboards and trim, along with doors and cabinets. Its soft sheen can help enhance architectural details while standing up to frequent cleaning and everyday wear. Matte finishes are prone to scuffs and harder to clean, making them less practical for high-touch surfaces such as doors.
