The finished product, from the cap/damper at the top of the chimney, down the liner in the chimney to the firebox at the bottom is picture perfect. Even the concrete crown was perfectly molded with no concrete mess anywhere. Chris Hernandez and his helper arrived on time and got right to work, putting a big tarp on the hearth and surrounding floor and plastic over nearby furniture. Tarps were also spread on the roof. When the work was finished, everything was cleaned up, including vacuuming the area around the fireplace. Chris has a number of certifications regarding all aspects of fireplaces, flues, caps, dampers, etc. and can explain in understandable terms why things are done a certain way.
