"They arrived on time at the pick-up location and arrived a little early (which was greatly appreciated) at the drop off location.  There the put together the bed and set up the new furniture quickly and efficiently.  The two man crew were very professional and friendly and provided feedback on how the furniture should be setup in the room to maximize the space.  They were in and out in less than an hour which let me get on with my day.

"I placed the order on 7-9-15 and they came early on 7-13-15 to pick up the items for disposal.  Carlene was courteous, professional and prompt setting up the date/time they would be at my house -- and they arrived about a half hour early.  I had an old dresser/chest in my basement which I couldn't get out by myself and they demolished and removed it.  They took some old damaged carpet and other items from my backyard.  When the truck space was filled, I was offered the rest of the truck space for a great deal or they would load it in my car for me to haul to the dump.  A really good experience and a really great price!

Closets questions, answered by experts

The differences between a built-in closet and a walk-in aren’t that different from a built-in wardrobe and a walk-in closet. It’s fairly simple—a walk-in closet is a closet you can physically enter, stand in, and walk around in. A built-in (whether wardrobe or closet) is more akin to covered shelves installed into a recess in the wall. Another big difference is walk-in closets almost always have traditional full-size doors, while built-ins either have no doors or use sliding doors.

A foyer or entryway is typically a formal landing area for guests, located at the primary entrance of a home. It is often more formally decorated and connects directly to the main living space. In contrast, a mudroom is a more casual, utilitarian room, usually leading in from a secondary entrance like a garage or the side or rear of the house. It serves as a space for residents to remove shoes and outerwear to keep mud, dirt, and water out of the main home.

Plywood, MDF (medium-density fiberboard), and solid wood are all popular options for closet shelving. Plywood and solid wood are sturdy and ideal for extended shelves or heavy items. MDF is a budget-friendly choice for light to moderate storage, but it can sag under heavy weight if not adequately supported. Wire shelving is another alternative that allows airflow, making it especially useful in humid spaces such as laundry rooms or basements.

Bedrooms and living rooms generally cost the least to remodel. Of course, the project price will depend on what you're planning to do to the space and the cost of the materials you choose to incorporate. Prices are typically lower than those of other remodels because major plumbing, electrical, and HVAC work isn't often part of remodeling these rooms.

Built-in furniture maximizes space, offers a tailored look, and enhances room functionality.
