"They arrived on time at the pick-up location and arrived a little early (which was greatly appreciated) at the drop off location.  There the put together the bed and set up the new furniture quickly and efficiently.  The two man crew were very professional and friendly and provided feedback on how the furniture should be setup in the room to maximize the space.  They were in and out in less than an hour which let me get on with my day.

"I placed the order on 7-9-15 and they came early on 7-13-15 to pick up the items for disposal.  Carlene was courteous, professional and prompt setting up the date/time they would be at my house -- and they arrived about a half hour early.  I had an old dresser/chest in my basement which I couldn't get out by myself and they demolished and removed it.  They took some old damaged carpet and other items from my backyard.  When the truck space was filled, I was offered the rest of the truck space for a great deal or they would load it in my car for me to haul to the dump.  A really good experience and a really great price!

"Very professional and great attention to detail.  I was not home when the carpets were cleaned but my husband was and he told me the guy was thorough and hard working.  The carpets looked great.  I will use them again."

Closets questions, answered by experts

The time it takes to build a closet varies widely depending on the project's size, complexity, and level of customization. On average, construction can take anywhere from a few days to two weeks.

A simple reach-in closet might be completed in less than a day, while a more complex walk-in closet could take one to two days or more. A typical project often falls in the 2-to-5-day range. However, a large, highly customized walk-in closet that requires structural changes, like moving a load-bearing wall, will take significantly longer.

A professional contractor can provide the most accurate time estimate for your specific project. If you are planning a DIY build, it is best to budget additional time.

Although you can complete a closet frame in just an afternoon, finishing the entire closet will take a few days to a week. However, that’s still not as much as the average time it takes to remodel a closet, which can take anywhere from several weeks to more than a month. That’s because you also have to consider the time it will take to demolish the existing space, plan a new design, order materials, and actually install it.

Walk-in closets are always the biggest and can easily be more than 100 square feet. Primary bedroom closets, even if not walk-ins, are the second largest category in most homes and sit between 30 and 80 square feet. Linen closets, utility closets, and built-in closets are smaller and, depending on their usage, tend to be between 10 and 50 square feet.

Yes, many providers offer design consultations to help optimize and maximize space, functionality, and usage. It is recommended to confirm the availability of this service with your specific installer or contractor.

Some features and upgrades you can add (some of which increase the closet’s value) are: modular shelving, motion-activated lighting, climate control, custom lighting, cigar humidors, revolving shoe racks, jewelry shelves, custom woodwork, and built-in laundry hampers. While only truly luxury closets have all of these, many custom closets have at least one special feature listed above.
