They stained the siding of our redwood house, painted all of the windows on the outside and stain the top and bottom of a large raised deck. They were always on time with a smile and a happy demeanor all day long. The preparation for staining and painting was done with particular care to use the best products that were compatible with the various stains and paints and was meticulously done paying attention to every detail. By the way, none of the windows were painted shut. Five stars is not enough to describe this very special painting company. The owner and his wife are very talented and the job was fairly priced. He and his guys power washed the house, cleaned the gutters, scraped, painted, replaced trim, completely rebuilt deck railings, rewrapped pillars/posts, and painted the brick, rails, and trim. "Had 4 other quotes to paint the interior walls of my home.  The salesman of this company discussed everything with me and listened to my concerns.  Price was negotiated and contract signed quickly.  Sent them my color choices (from Sherman-Williams) and made the paint date May 6th (which way my earliest day available), but then I asked if they wouldn't mind doing it sooner.  They then emailed me of an earlier open date.  Paint crew arrived promptly around 8:30 AM and the crew lead talked things over with me and made sure of my color choices before going to get them while the others moved everything away from the walls and put down drop cloths.  He then came back and explained all the colors & details with his crew.  All walls were painted and everything else masked very well.  The crew completed multiple coats on all walls within the day and the job was completed way quicker than my expectations!  Would not hesitate to use them again.  It's like having a new (old) home!"

"We hoped to improve the appearance of our shower by having the mildew-stained grout removed and replaced. In the process, 24 of our glazed ceramic shower tiles were slightly chipped, scratched, or severely gouged by the Handyman's tool used to dig out the old grout. Our handyman worked hard at a difficult and dirty task, but ultimately didn't have control of the tool he was using as evidenced by the damage to so many tiles. On the positive side, Mr. Handyman paid us $50 to buy five tiles to replace the most severely gouged and our handyman returned to do the replacement free of charge. However, I am still distressed by the tiny chips and scratches which remain in so many of the shower tiles not replaced. There appears no easy way to repair the scratches and small chips. This job took two days and we had to pay $1,600 with a $100 discount coupon. We also had to pay $91 for the tool that ultimately caused the damage to our shower tiles. Mr. Handyman was very responsive in trying to address the problem, but we wish it hadn't happened in the first place and are not entirely satisfied with the end result for the money we paid. The grout job itself looks quite nice."

"Arrived late the first day and explained that he had to get another crew working.  Went right to work, with an assistant, on the plaster repair and baseboard work.  Very professional in approach and, unlike many handymen, well equipped with all tools, including power tools, to do the work.  Cleanup after the work was done was meticulous, including some minor sawdust on the deck that would have blown away anyway.  Because I did not know the color of the existing bannister, Mr Leal brought three samples on a piece of oak to determine the best match.  We selected one that was almost perfect.  He returned a couple of days later with the bannister all finished and ready to cut and install.  As with the initial visit, care was taken to protect rugs etc from dirt.  The installation was completed in a couple of hours.  The quality of the work on all three tasks was exceptional , beyond what you might expect from a handyman.  I highly recommend Ferney Leal."
