After the install, the entire first floor had to be refinished, including the staircase and handrails, and a 2nd floor loft. the crew did the most amazing job. "Brian from Torres flooring reached out to me immediately after I submitted my request, and quickly gave me a quote and did the repair that day! We had a small section of our vinyl floor cut out by our previous owners to install a wooden railing. We removed the railing and needed the flooring patched with some of the flooring we had stored away. I contacted so many floor companies who said the job was 'too risky' and declined the job, or told us we needed to replace the entire floor (for like $5k). Brian was super friendly and said he could do the job no problem, understood what we needed done, and did a great job! "A year ago, we had William refinish our floors; he did a great job-- also on painting! Sadly, during the year a dog became in ill an unbeknownst to us had accidents on a rug covering the newly done floors- the moisture seeped into the wood; it needed to be repaired. William did the repair for a reasonable price. Unfortunately, initially the repair didn't look good- I contacted William. He came back and agreed that it didn't come out as he'd hoped (he'd had to replace boards, re-stain and varnish the area). He came back again, re-did the work for no additional fee and it looks GORGEOUS. He showed great integrity and commitment to quality- his disappointment in the original repair was evident on his face. He is not always super quick to get back to you- but I found him to be responsive to polite persistence. He is now my "floor guy"-- we're moving and he'll be the person I call for any flooring related needs."

"Pretty quick job, took about 3 days to install engineered hardwood floors in my basement. Some areas are separating a bit now, but I'll fill in those gaps with some filler. Cheaper than Empire and other company quotes. They ripped the previous carpeting out and hauled it away and did a good cleanup job. New stair flooring installed too. I'm quite happy with the work, minus the separation, but maybe that just happens when the floor settles?"
