JW Home ImprovementExtremely well. A leak in a kitchen pipe destroyed the floor, which had to be rebuilt from the subfloor up. While we were at it, we decided to remodel the entire kitchen, which involved removing cabinets and old wall paper and patching and painting the walls. Virginia Kitchen & BathWe recently completed our kitchen and powder room remodel. Leon and Bo were our sales/designer team. They were very helpful providing us alternatives to what we “thought” we wanted to help open up our small kitchen (removing outdated soffits and the ledge on our center island). We were a little concerned when we learned before our project start that they left the company because we still didn’t choose our countertops, backsplash and paint colors. The owner Kemal Boyraz reassured us that the project would go smoothly and he and his team would assist us. Although we were a little apprehensive starting demolition before our final selections, I soon found myself thanking Kemal and phrasing the crew assigned to our project! Sertac was our project manager and Andy was our crew leader. Any concerns we had we brought to the attention of Sertac and were quickly addressed and relayed to Andy. Andy was personable and worked with me and my husband and made design, plumbing and electrical suggestions. He even sat with me and gave his onion on paint swatches I was struggling with! The powder room mirror we selected turned out to be too large and to order the smaller mirror would have taken two weeks to get. Andy ran out to a few different suppliers to find it in stock. I can’t praise and thank Andy and his crew enough. Our new kitchen and power room turned out to be even more beautiful than we imagined. We went from dark dated cabinets and countertops to a bright and open elegant design. Thank you Virginia Kitchen & Bath for all your hard work and craftsmanship. We are very happy with the result. The flooring is just what we asked for. The hardwood matched perfectly to the hallway transition on the stairs. The installers were punctual and polite. They protected all the flooring that they needed to use to access the area. Henry came to our initial estimate and was very helpful in giving input on best way to tackle the stairs and landing areas to transition to the laminate flooring. We are very happy and would recommend Aladdin flooring to others and whenever we need other flooring projects completed.

They also handled a hardwood pine staircase refresh in the same week. Rudy takes pride in his business, and I enjoyed working with him.

Bought a home that needed top to bottom renovations, including almost 2000 sq ft of new hardwood, another 2000 of old hardwood floors/steps/banisters refinished, another 2000 of luxury vinyl installed, and carpet steps ripped out and replaced with hardwood. Of ALL our MANY contractors (tile, electric, painting, handymen, etc), Masood was the one person who's team showed when he said he would 100% of the time, did a great job the FIRST time (one crew ripped up old carpet and installed all the hardwood in ONE day, and another crew installed the vinyl in ONE day as well - honestly, I didn't think that much could be done in so short a time). He provided great pricing and wonderful service, advising me which flooring would be more durable and ordering in a flooring I liked best rather than pushing me into something easier to get. Masood is very easy to work with and made sure everything was done well. We had used him at a previous house and been happy there as well, but the new flooring in this house made a huge difference. Let me start by saying overall I am pleased with the outcome of my re-stained and newly installed hardwood floors. It pains me to write the downside of my review because I really considered John, the owner, a professional and a really kind soul. After my final walkthrough and once the natural light hit my floors, I noticed that the old oakwood floor was quite noticeable on some parts of my re-stained stairs. I called John and he advised that he noticed it and was waiting for my call. He explained that because certain parts of the original flooring was veneers it was hard for his guys to completely re-sand to bare wood. He also advised that his guys pointed this out to him as well. He then stated my only options would be to paint those parts white or to replace those parts of the stairs. I then said to him I wished he had pointed that out to me as soon as he was advised and recognized it. He then said he would try to locate replacement veneers. I never heard back from him. After calling him he said the distributor was closed due to the pandemic; totally understandable. He then said he would send me a quote to replace the parts of the stairs. After two follow-up attempts, I never received the quote. I am very disappointed that knowingly John didn't point out this issue to me and offer options to resolve, until I pointed it out. And, that he never followed up with me to resolve. I really thought he and team would be my go to hardwood floor contractors going forward. Really disappointed in the lack of transparency and follow through.
