"Walter was great. He and his helper arrived on-time and spent the whole first day busy. The second day he brought a different helper. They were very neat and cleaned up and covered the floor areas and our bed. They put in a barn door and had to install a header with drywall. They moved one light and put in 5 new lights.They also fixed one bathroom faucet that the cold and hot water lines had been switched. I would definitely recommend him to friends"

"Terrific, we decided to go w/ Stoneberger because their sales representative spent time advising and guiding us through the options, the colors and styles of doors. She listened to what we thought we wanted and helped us find the right solution. No other sales rep we met with offered that customer service. She also followed up on time and was super easy to work with once we decided on specific doors. Installation also was on time, efficient and went very smoothly. In particular, their interior painting and bathroom renovation work were superb.  Other components of the renovation were good as well.

The owner, Frank, was cordial and professional.  As an example, he was well versed in working with the stairway and made good suggestions, while respecting our thoughts.  He even worked with a new subcontractor for the stairway railing and glass that seemed to have the better proposal than the one he usually uses.

The AMS crew members who worked on the basement, stairway, painting and bathroom were courteous and responsive to changes and suggestions.  They also "cleaned up" their work area each day.  They seemed to be a happy bunch, and at times we could hear one of them singing (pretty well :-) while working in the basement.

I suppose the best measure of a renovation company would be whether we would request their services again.  The answer would be a resounding "Yes"!"

"George was very professional when we first dealt with him and did a satisfactory job.  However, when we wanted him to do smaller jobs, he did not respond or set up dates to come and then did not show up nor did he call.  His father, who is the actual owner of George's Painting, came to our house for an estimate to have 3 closet shelves installed (the metal mesh type) for hwich he wanted $650.00.  We thought that was entirely too much as the material cost less than $100.  We looked for someone else off of Angie's list and got an excellent person who only charged $200 which was more reasonable and on top of that did an excellent job.    In addition we are having numerous other things done at reasonable prices.  Had I waited a bit longer, I could have gotten my house painted much cheaper as well.  George is overpriced and does not respond when you call or will he make an appointment with you and then not keep it.  I am glad I found someone else who is capable of doing what we want, is professional, does excellent work and his price is more reasonable.    I have already had work done by this other company and we are very satisfied.
