"An excellent carpentry project that is not in the drop-down categories above. Built a second left-side banister to assist with stair climbing after owner injury. The banister matches the original perfectly and is beyond expectations. 100% recommendation."

"We returned from out of town to discover that one of the coils on the garage door had snapped. I called Stoneberger on Monday morning. They were able to come to my home and fix the coil later that afternoon. The service gentleman was prompt and finished within 30 minutes. It was great!"

I'm very happy I went with EA Roofing and Siding. In my opinion you can't go wrong with TJ and Tony. They’re honest, accommodating and pleasant to work with and always have a positive attitude. If all business had these traits, then I think you would not need websites like Angies List to screen out the bad ones. Since we know that’s not the case, Angies List will help you identify the one that do.
Here's what TJ and Tony did for me:
- They were responsible for getting my home insurance approved. They set-up the latter and safety ropes and identified the damage and were waiting for the adjuster before he arrived. They came with a positive attitude and it made a big difference.
- They changed their schedule to started my work early to accommodate my schedule. They did this to help me, much appreciated.
- They replaced my 19 year old roof with new premium architectural shingles. Went from old and ugly to new and beautiful.
- They replaced my old aluminum siding with a beautiful vinyl siding. Went from old, ugly and greyest white to new and beautiful wicker color. Love the new color and design.
- They replace my old ugly greyest white gutters with new ones that do not show any hangers and have a high white gloss. Love them.
- They painted my trim on my house. This was subcontract out and was not done very well at first and took a long time to get completed but TJ and Tony made sure they came back and it was done correctly. Now I happy with the results. Thanks Tony and TJ.
Overall - This is the best company I have ever worked with. Great experience. TJ and Tony actually did more work than they had to and did not charge me. They were always easy to contact and responded quickly. I'm very impressed with their professionalism and eagerness to satisfy me. From what I have read all their customers seem to agree - EA Roofing and Siding is the Best!

"After meeting with a few contractors, I decided to hire Cornelio and team at CRG remodeling for a bathroom remodel in my condo, in downtown Washington DC... and I'm thrilled with the result. CRG Remodeling is fantastic! They showed up on time every morning, worked hard all day, coordinated services around our loading dock and building rules, and cleaned up every night. Living through a remodel is never fun, but CRG made it as easy as possible. Cornelio even offered suggestions at various decision points which were incredibly helpful. I will absolutely hire them again for my next project."

"The company showed up on time and conducted the shingle replacement being careful not to damage the gardens around the house. They brought the roof up to current code, (the roof no longer complied with local codes), and worked with our chimney company to install the flashing properly. The cleanup was performed in an acceptable manner and the work was finished on time. Follow-up inspections by the company and I showed I had a good roof that was going to last another long time. I would definitely recommend this company for roof work."

Pole Barn Builders questions, answered by experts

Depending on your needs, you may find a storebought pole barn is a much less expensive option than a custom-built one. You can find pole barn kits from big box retailers starting at $11,000, but you will be limited when it comes to size and add-on features. As long as you have the necessary skills, you can save on labor costs by doing it yourself; but there are a lot of different skill sets you would need, and mistakes during the building process can lead to excessive repair bills later.

Building a treehouse can vary in difficulty depending on factors such as design complexity, size, and the builder’s woodworking experience. Basic treehouses with simple designs can be manageable for DIYers with some carpentry skills, while more elaborate structures may pose challenges. Adequate planning, research, and careful execution can make the process more manageable, and resources like premade plans or professional assistance are always available for additional support.

Building a tiny house is the least complicated way to build, especially if you’re tackling the project as a DIY. The smaller size means less complex plans, more straightforward utility installation, and fewer ways to make costly errors. Tiny homes still need to conform to building codes and often have other applicable regulations, so be sure to get the proper permits and confirm your build is by the book.

If you’re building a pole barn in place of a traditional home, lenders usually don’t offer traditional mortgages for these structures. You can also expect higher insulation costs and building permits may not be allowed in your area. Even if you’re just using a pole barn as storage or as a shelter for animals, these structures are less durable than steel buildings and require more maintenance.

Yes, barn doors can be too heavy, although the limitation is usually imposed by the mounting hardware you buy and not your home’s framing, unless you’re building an unusually wide door. To keep the weight down, you can opt for 1-by material rather than 2-by material, and choose a softwood like pine rather than a hardwood like maple or oak. Check the weight limits on your mounting hardware, and always attach your door track to studs rather than to drywall anchors.
