We’ve worked with Berith Builders on two separate projects now - a screened in porch and recently a bathroom renovation. We couldn’t be more pleased with their work! Over the years, this company stands out as the best we’ve worked with. This company and their team of professionals are trustworthy, reliable, conscientious, hardworking and a pleasure to work with. Deane, of Berith Builders and his crew were the right company for the jobs. I had 3 bathrooms remodeled and the outcomes we better than expected. Each bathroom was a complete gut with new floor tile, new tiled showers from floor to ceiling, new furniture grade vanities and upscale lighting. The quality of work accomplished was excellent. My grandkids call the new bathrooms “hotel bathrooms!” The care and craftsmanship for each project far exceeded our expectations. We even called them back for a bedroom remodel and plan to have them do some future kitchen work. Go with these guys. You will not be disappointed!

We love Deane, Tony, and their crew almost as much as we love our new home renovation! What a positive experience we had working with Berith Builders. From the first time we met Deane to discuss our project, we found him personable, professional, respectful, positive, fair, engaged, and collaborative. And we ended the 6 month project feeling the same way about him, Tony and everyone that worked on our job - which is a rare occurrence in the building/construction industry. Communication was timely, pricing/cost estimating was transparent, the project site was well maintained, the crew was respectful of our neighbors and neighborhood, the workmanship and attention to details was first class, and unanticipated issues were discussed and resolved creatively and fairly. Our renovation included an addition with a wood burning fireplace, completely renovating two bathrooms, upgrading lighting in the existing house, upgrading the internal staircase and balcony railings, refinishing the hard wood flooring, replacing a few external doors, adding a new front porch, and upgrading our screened porch and deck. We also wanted to acknowledge that Tony is quite a woodworker/craftsman. He went above and beyond on several aspects of the project to give it his special touch. He custom designed and built a gorgeous oak loft ladder and all of the stair pickets, posts, and handrails for us - they are all works of art that really make our new renovation special. We would definitely HIGHLY recommend Berith Builders and would hire them again without question for any future home renovation projects.

We hired Berith Builders in December 2020 to build a large garage addition (with living space above) onto our home. We had previously worked with a different company on remodeling our home and had a bad experience... so much so that we hesitated to do more work. Our experience with Berith was wonderful! Deane was great at communicating and keeping us informed. His estimates were on target, and the quality of work was excellent. We had a specific vision for the work, and Deane and his team were partners with us to make that vision a reality. It went so well that we had them back to remodel the dated lower level of our home. Again, the work was done so professionally, on time, and on budget. If there were any changes in the cost estimate, Deane took the time to explain them and talk through things with us first. Our house is now almost completely renovated and is exactly how we wanted it... and we had a positive experience throughout! We have one more room to do to finish our project, and we absolutely will be using Berith Builders again. I have also recommended Berith to my neighbors and will gladly recommend them to anyone who asks.

Deane from Berith Builders took the time to visit and understand our project needs. He offered multiple price options and experience based recommendations. He ordered all of the material based on our choices and was quick to schedule the work once the material was ready. His team was timely and professional. Deane himself was onsite multiple times to ensure quality and answer any of our questions. The team went above and beyond to give a good product, to include some nice finishing touches. Deane also swung by after the work was done to walk through with us one last time and clean up the remaining items. We are contracting Berith again for a replacement rear door this month. Great working with them!

What more can I say about Berith Builders that hasn't already been said. Believe the hype!!! Deane, Tony and all of the crew are Awesome!!! I truly feel that they treated my home like it was their own. They were always on time and the job site was always clean. It was a joy to watch and listen to this Father and Son team work together. I can tell they enjoy their work. From the initial meeting with Deane to go over the job, to the job completion, the attention to detail and level of service was top notch. We didn't have to worry about a single thing. Deane took care of all permits and inspections. They went way above and beyond by doing several extras for us like continuing the vinyl flooring from the new addition to the bathroom I was renovating. They also did some drywall finishing and painted the bathroom I was renovating. It's these kind of things that make Berith Builders stand above the rest. We initially had Berith Builders put an addition to our home as well as replace the roof, gutters, windows and siding. Everything went smooth and on schedule. I was so impressed with their work that I hired them again a few months later to finish my kitchen and replace my 12'x20' deck, which also turned out great! I recommend Berith Builders 1000%. Where do I start?! As soon as we met Deane, we knew he was the contractor for us. We did a lot of research and after listening to about five contractors and seeing their estimates, Berith was for us! Their pricing was excellent! They removed a load bearing wall, installed all beams, obtained all permits, met with all inspectors and performed such a fine and detailed finished product that we are MORE than thrilled we used Berith Builders. They completely gutted and designed an open floor plan to include a show worthy kitchen with an 11’ island, family room, powder room, new windows, an elegant dining room, new floors, refinished the stairs, added iron railings, created an upstairs laundry room, a master suite with a big walk in closet and a master bath in stone, tile and granite. The 5’x7’ master shower is amazing and the little touches like crown molding, custom cabinets, insulated sunroom doors, dining room wainscoting, pocket doors and oil-rubbed bronze finishes everywhere are show stoppers. They made great recommendations to little problem areas in our house. Needless to say, we are in heaven! Their customer service is top notch and every single person who came through our home felt like family. We couldn’t recommend anyone else any higher and know you’ll be pleased with Deane!

Deane and his team did an outstanding job with installing my deck (12’x24’composite Deck including (2) 3’wide staircases). Deane and his company provided the full customer service from the beginning to the end of the project. During my initial project phase of getting contractor quotes, Deane provided some useful recommendations on the initial deck design layout including the relocation of the hose bib, which if not moved, would have been inaccessible from under the finished deck. My other deck contractor quotes did not include this observation and recommendation. In addition, Deane also recommended finishing the perimeter under the deck by removing the sod and replacing it with a foundation consisting of a weed barrier, crushed gravel and a 4x4 treated timber around the deck perimeter to give it a more finished look under the deck. Once I selected Deane and his company to build the deck, Deane kept me informed along the way with respect to the project schedule. All aspects of the project were handled by Deane including providing the necessary HOA documents and sample decking materials for the approval process, acquiring the necessary county permits and inspections and finally answering all of my questions as the project progressed. The quality and craftmanship of the deck build are outstanding. I would recommend and plan to utilize Deane's company, Berith Builders, for my future home improvement projects.

We needed to replace our shower, so we decided to hire Berith Builders again. They had previously added a screened-in porch onto our house. We were so happy with the quality of their craftsmanship and their friendly and professional personality. Deane and Tony once again were amazing. For example, there were certain marble tiles that we liked that came in a mosaic package from Lowes; however, we did not like all of the patterns and colors of the marble that came in the package. Deane heard our concerns and went to three different Lowes stores to get the correct pattern and color of marble tile that we wanted. They also listened to our concerns about the opening of the shower door and how we wanted two shampoo nooks. Every time, Tony and Deane listen to our concerns and came up with solutions that worked for us. In the end, we have a shower that is well constructed and beautiful. Thank you Deane and Tony!

We were amazed at how good Berith Builders are. This family run operation was absolutely a pleasure to work with. They worry about every detail making sure it not only looks architecturally pleasing but that it will be of the highest quality. Deane and Tony took our ideas and ran with them. We were so impressed that they went beyond what we asked for to make sure it was the best screened porch. Deane and Tony did many extras including making sure the new porch roof line complimented the existing roof line and to make sure all of the materials used were of the highest quality. Deane is meticulous when it comes to quality. The initial quote we received to build the porch was the second lowest quote out of the six companies, and yet they wanted to build the largest most complex screened porch that covered every one of our needs and then some. They were spot on with the quote. Tony's ability to problem solve in the middle of construction and Dean's ability to go above and beyond with service and quality is a rarity. We were also impressed with how friendly they are. They are just great people. We are recommending them to all of our friends.

When my husband and I bought our cottage on the Bay last year, we planned to completely renovate the existing structure, while at the same time move forward to design and secure permits for an addition. We needed a contractor who had the skills to help us create a unique home using high level finishes and products. Thankfully, after interviewing several contractors we chose Deane Wolfe's Berith Builders! Together with his son Tony and a host of competent subs, Deane has exceeded every expectation we had for the renovation of the existing structure. The craftsmanship and creativity Deane and Tony have demonstrated in addressing any number of challenges has been remarkable. We couldn't be happier with our home or the experience of working with Deane and Tony to create what we have to date (see photos). The next step in the process is to secure building permits for an addition which will enlarge the cottage sufficiently to allow us to live here full-time. We hope to begin construction after the first of the year and we would not consider using anyone but Berith. Deane is as honest a person as we have ever done business with and over the course of the past months we have come to value both his integrity and his friendship. Son Tony complements his dad by using his creativity and many skills to execute even the most difficult ideas. Both men made us feel like nothing was too much trouble (when I knew it was!) and that they were as vested as we were in creating something special that we could all be proud of. Very well! Workers were on-time as scheduled. When underlying problems were discovered we were included in the resolution. Sub-contractors were supervised & the areas of the house that had to be passed through to access the work area were layered with protective matting. Workers were very attentive to picking up after themselves & left the work areas as neat as possible at the end of the work day. The cost indicated below was the cost of labor for the 3 areas of concern (2 bathrooms & bedroom).
