"This response it address your claims and other situations that arose with this project that you do not mention. The project was going well and according to plan until the very end of work being completed. You contacted me stating that the baseboard heater that was included in the contract and that you had previously approved, after I sent you a link of the item for your review and approval l, was not sufficiently adequate to heat up the small bathroom. Even though in my professional experience that 24 inch baseboard heater was standard and adequate for the size bathroom, I still agreed to remove and replace with a baseboard heater of your choosing provided you supply the replacement and advise when to install. At your suggestion I even agreed that you withhold the final $1,200 owed on the contract until we could finish the installation, because CRG strives to keep our customers happy. However, I did not hear from on your end you for almost 9 months after that at which point your husband contacted me to request that we come back to fix an unsealed toilet and cracked grout. I did mention to your husband that we needed to be compensated for the baseboard heater that we installed according to your original approval/contract or to install the replacement heater that you would provide and we would come address the other new issues as well. You insisted that we come out to complete the touch ups before and you would address the baseboard heater at a later time. This was not in compliance with our original agreement/contract which we did honor but did not receive full compensation for. Due that breach of the original agreement and no movement on your end to complete according to the agreed upon baseboard heater solution we could not in good faith come back to touch up the issues that arose after work was completed. We went above and beyond to accommodate your issues and concerns to try to resolve issues that were quite frankly not required by us to complete/resolve. We still want to resolve this issue and our offer to install the new backboard heater is still available provided we get our agreed upon compensation. Once that is resolved and we receive payment we can fix and address the cracked grout and unsealed toilet. At no point before did you mention loose hardware or doors but provided these issues were not caused or damaged by you living in the space we can fix and resolve. Please note the work was inspected and approved by an independent DCRA Inspector and there was not an unsealed toilet when we left the project but we can still resolve once we are fully compensated in accordance with original contract. Also we do have extensive picture of our completed work at your residence if needed."
