"Price was negotiated, but we agreed on price. Service date and communication not clear. I was informed day of service that someone would be there within 1 hour. They did come, but before that no communication for a week, I had just about given up, knowing bulk trash was about to reopen. I wanted it done and I would hire them again."

"I called around 8 AM and left a VM. Within 20 minutes I received a callback. A crew happened to be close to my home so he was able to get them over right away...So quickly in fact I had to ask him to have them take their time because I needed to get ready. Everyone I dealt with was very courteous and professional. It was an overall excellent experience. I looked at prices from numerous other hauling companies, and theirs was the best."

Customers say: True professional

"Chris and his team were prompt, professional and efficient in hauling away our 670-pound baby grand piano; not an easy feat. Chris was very pleasant to work with and we would hire him again to handle other hauling or junk removal needs"

"Great! Very fast, friendly, and courteous. The guys were sure to make certain what they were supposed to take before moving anything. Would definitely use them again."

A pile of garbage that got piled up outside the bins creating a unsightly and unsanitary environment.
Professional, reliable and efficient removals every time.
All cleared up. Now on schedule to do regular removals so it doesn’t get to that point again.

"Even though I submitted my request through Home Advisor well after business hours, Brian called immediately to discuss my hauling needs. The items needed to be removed within two days and the company accommodated me. Brian was prompt (7:30 a.m.), courteous, kind, and efficient. I will definitely use them again and recommend them to others. Thanks."

Hauling questions, answered by experts

Silver Spring experiences four distinct seasons that affect hauling. Winter snow, ice, and freeze-thaw cycles create dangerous driveway access issues. Heavy spring rainfall saturates the ground, making yard access difficult and causing soil erosion. Summer brings intense heat, high humidity, and afternoon thunderstorms that abruptly halt outdoor work. Schedule your hauling projects during the fall, as moderate temperatures and lower precipitation create favorable conditions.

Helpful?

Evaluate your property for narrow single-car driveways, low-clearance carports, and steep hillside lots that block large trucks. In Silver Spring, dense, mature tree canopies restrict vehicle height and require careful navigation. Check if you live in an attached rowhome or rear-alley configuration. These specific layouts eliminate side-yard access and force hauling crews to move items directly through your home's interior.

Helpful?

Maintaining your garbage collection service involves keeping your county-issued carts clean and in working condition. Report any damaged carts directly to Montgomery County DSWS for repair or replacement. Place your carts at the curb by 7:00 a.m. on collection day and return them within 24 hours. Monitor the county schedule for delays during heavy MD snow events. Schedule separate pickups for bulk items, and place seasonal yard waste in designated paper bags.

Helpful?

After setting up your garbage collection service, confirm your address is correctly registered with Montgomery County DSWS. Silver Spring addresses occasionally experience routing inconsistencies. Set up collection day notifications via the county portal to stay informed about winter weather delays. Review the current accepted materials list to ensure compliance with the single-stream recycling program. Schedule separate pickups for construction debris or bulk items, as standard curbside service excludes these materials.

Helpful?

Build a seasonal routine in MD by inspecting driveways for frost heave damage and checking basements for water intrusion every late winter. During late spring, assess your yard for muddy, unstable ground before scheduling heavy hauling equipment. In late summer and fall, clear out storm debris and complete hauling projects before winter weather arrives. Coordinate your timing to avoid conflicts with local yard waste collection schedules.
