"Outstanding. Great service and very reasonable pricing. Gordon and his team removed 4 large trees, two bushes and performed general trimming of some other large trees on the property. They were efficient and safe -- clearing all debris at the end. Would hire again and highly recommend."

"I had Axcobar Tree Service trim and remove a number of trees and I highly recommend them. I will use them again and not waste time looking at any other companies. They provided an estimate and on our scheduled date arrived first thing in the morning and worked all day. They did an outstanding job and cleaned up everything as they worked. We are very happy with Axcobar Tree Experts and would recommend them for all your tree service needs."

"Great! Matt met me to see the trees I wanted to have removed, and I received an estimate shortly afterwards. The team took them down fast and asked if I was satisfied with the work before leaving. Very happy with the service"

"This company provided excellent service and fair pricing for our tree trimming project. The team was friendly, experienced, and worked efficiently throughout the day. Our trees now look healthier, and the property feels much safer during strong winds and heavy storms."

"JNO has performed an excellent job in removing two tall pine trees in my back yard at a very reasonable price. Very fast and professional service. All the tree branches have been removed, leaving the yard very clean. The owner is very friendly and patient. Highly recommend! They even fixed my broken fence door latch and trimmed another small tree for free."

"Very well. Baker tree gave me a competitive quote and addressed the problem intelligently. My large maple tree was trimmed to keep it balanced and erect and removed large branches that were the main problem. The crew arrived on time in the morning and finished around noon. the crew also trimmed three other trees and removed a very large photinia bush (about 30 feet high) and removed the stump from the photinia bush."

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

Most tree service projects in Silver Spring, such as tree removal or tree trimming, are completed within one to three days. Planting several trees or handling complex removals may take longer. Permit processing for large or protected trees can add two to four weeks. Project timing may also be influenced by weather, seasonal demand, property access, and coordination with utility companies for safety clearances.

Helpful?

In Silver Spring, large tree roots near your home’s foundation can impact soil moisture and potentially shift basement walls. Before starting tree removal or tree trimming, check for underground utilities—many older properties have lines running through root zones. Roots may invade aging sewer pipes, while overhanging branches can damage roofs or block gutters, affecting drainage and even HVAC efficiency if vents are obstructed.

Helpful?

In Silver Spring, the longevity of tree service projects depends on selecting species like red maple or American holly that thrive in local soil and climate. Proper planting depth, mulching, and seasonal tree pruning are essential. Awareness of clay-heavy soil and drainage needs, along with following local permit requirements and utility line safety, ensures trees remain healthy and projects are completed safely and efficiently.

Helpful?

Completing tree service projects in Silver Spring enhances comfort by increasing shade with native oaks and maples, reducing heat and lowering cooling needs. Regular tree trimming improves air quality and helps block noise from busy roads. Healthy trees also manage stormwater runoff, reducing flooding risks. These benefits make neighborhoods more attractive, support wildlife, and contribute to higher property values and a welcoming community atmosphere.

Helpful?

Homeowners in Silver Spring increasingly choose native trees such as river birch and serviceberry for their resilience and support of local pollinators. Privacy screens using evergreen trees are popular, as are low-maintenance, drought-tolerant varieties. Sustainable practices like mulching with wood chips and organic fertilization are trending, along with tree removal for invasive species to encourage healthier, more attractive landscapes.
