"We have a slight hill at the end of our gravel driveway, which washed out pretty badly during the recent hurricane rains. I was looking for someone to repair this, and get us another year out of the gravel driveway before we have it paved. I called three different companies, and Bill Cooper was the one who gave me the best explanation of what needed to be done. He wasn't trying to push me towards an expensive new driveway, but rather gave me options to do it right. In the end, we covered the loose gravel with a milling base, which looks better and sets me up to pave the driveway in a year or so, when it has appropriately settled. I think Bill really knows his stuff, and I'm very happy with the way things turned out."

The work was delayed by weather, but was quickly rescheduled. They completely removed the original concrete driveway, installed a bed of stone, and a steel framework. The following day, they installed, graded (so water runs off to the street), and broom textured the driveway. They were respectful of the plants around the driveway. I'm very happy with the final product."

"I needed to remove a shower base/pan in the basement (on a concrete floor). Was going to do it myself, 'til I realized this shower base had been made using concrete (approx. 35 yrs ago). Wasn't sure where to go/who to use, and wound up coming to HomeAdvisor.com, who provided me w. the names of 2 companies/contractors who should be able to remove this concrete shower base. I contacted both contactors, but it was this contractor (Hernandez Stone Work) who followed through right away. My e-mail to him (Pedro) specifed that I'd like to get this done asap - and he was right there for me. Came to the house, that afternoon, to look at the project. Gave me a price quote (which was fine with me!), and his crew came to the house, 3 days later, and within 2 hrs, the concrete shower was gone! So was all the concrete debrie! I couldn't be more pleased! I was expecting a LOT of dust - and the dust is minimal. They did a terrific job - protecting the shower drain pipe, which was unharmed by the concrete removal - and a terrific price, too! What would have taken me probably 6 weeks to do, was accomplished within 2 hrs. Amazing! The crew was fast, hard-working, pleasant, professional... Seriously - I cannot say enough nice things about this group. I will use them again - soon. (Next project? Replacing our concrete driveway.) Second, dig a couple of feet on both sides of our existing driveway to widen it out. Finally, pour asphalt on top of the driveway to replace the old one. Joe came in at the best price and finish the entire job in a single day.."

"I have used this company before, for a patio at our old house, so when I moved and so I would need a new sidewalk I knew who to call. Derek, the sales person and estimator,arrived right on time and was very professional in suggesting a design for the new sidewalk. He also suggested that we could use some of the existing flagstone to build a pad for our trash cans around the side of the house. they told me they estimated the work would be done at the end of August, but they actually came out two weeks early to do the work. on a hot day, the team worked hard and was very efficient and precise. Mr. Morgado the supervisor was there at the beginning and we discussed and confirmed the work to be done...then he gave clear instructions to the crew. They did a super job, and it looks terrific...attractive and professional. Santos the crew leader confirmed things with me before doing them, like how to handle a tricky step up from the driveway. We are very pleased with the sidewalk and have gotten several compliments on it."
