"I hired a plumber through HomeAdvisor using prepay but I would not recommend this service. The contractor left a leaky pipe that caused water coming up through carpet. I had to purchase a wet vacuum to dry out the carpet. I had to contact HomeAdvisor again and hired Dave the Plumber, LLC who had to redo the installation done previously. Dave the Plumber replaced all the piping and outside spigot because of a water leak the previous contractor left. Thank you Dave the Plumber for being a professional and a job well done."

"Atlantic Blue did a natural gas water heater replacement for me. Highly responsive customer service and estimators. The Installation team did a great job, On time, efficient, polite and answer all questions. They were in and out in less than an hour and a half including questions and a brief walk through. They provide a good product AO Smith 40 gallon in this case. No problems with the county inspection. I would definitely use them for future plumbing work."

Although linear drains allow water to flow quickly and efficiently, they tend to clog more easily than traditional drains. Linear drains are flush with the shower floor, allowing soap scum and hair to potentially build up. If you go to turn it counterclockwise and it won’t turn anymore, it’s open. Bleach is generally not recommended for your shower drains. Although diluted bleach can technically help clean your drain, it will not unclog your pipes. In fact, bleach can harm your plumbing system because it’s so powerful. The bleach can change the color of your sink and even corrode metal pipes and fittings.

Often, people reach for bleach because it's already in their house. But it's worth getting a plunger or a drain snake for the job instead. It'll be a lot less money to buy a new plunger than to pay a plumber to repair or replace damaged pipes.

In the warmer months, it’s fine to leave your garden hose attached to your spigot. However, before the first frost of the year, make sure to disconnect your hose from your outdoor faucet and drain any leftover water inside. Otherwise, water could freeze in the hose and potentially burst inside your faucet or pipes.
