"Barr plumbing had someone come out to assess the problem on the same day - and were also able to fix the issue at the same time. Due to the speedy response to the well pump issue I asked them if they could schedule a visit to assess the leaking hot water tank ( I had another plumber scheduled but best appointment time was two weeks hence). They were able to schedule another visit very quickly and replace the problem tank."

No, bleach will not harm PVC pipes. Assuming the bleach is not mixed with any other chemicals, you can dilute it and pour it down a drain that has PVC plumbing. Undiluted bleach won’t hurt PVC pipes, but bleach should be diluted before disposing of it by pouring it down a drain.

That pesky faucet leak can have a few different causes, most of which are standard wear and tear that occurs over time, but that doesn’t make it any less annoying, especially when the energy bill hits:

  • Old washer: A deteriorated washer or gasket is the most common cause of a leak. Luckily, it’s easy and affordable to fix.
