They were friendly and willing to answer any questions I asked. The cleanup crew of one did a fabulous job. The salesman, David Hill, was very helpful and responsive throughout the process. A pleasure to work with for sure. If I were to ignore the fact that we signed the contract in March 2020, at the beginning of what became an unprecedented pandemic, and the build did not complete until February 2021, this review might have been far less positive. We were initially anticipating completion by July 2020. But who’d have known how the pandemic would eventually affect suppliers, inventory availability, inspector availability, and more. There were so many delays that appear to have been out of everyone’s control. Marc, our project manager, seemed overwhelmed at times trying to coordinate all the various activities for this project. Multiply that by all the other projects AES might have had going on at the same time and all the pandemic-caused impacts to suppliers and inspection offices in different jurisdictions with different COVID-19 mandates, I’m sure it was a nightmare. Still, I wish communications and coordination could have been more timely. But job-well done at the end of the day. The wait was worth it

This is a serious benefit to consumers and should be considered as part of the decision process when selecting a contractor. I have firsthand experience with this benefit. In 2010, slightly past the 5 year warranty period of my bathroom projects, a plumbing problem developed in my downstairs bathroom. In all honesty, I wasn't certain it was an AES issue or that they would be willing to deal with it. Nevertheless, I called anyway. Tim Munson called me back and, after I explained what I had, he wasn't certain it was his issue either. But, despite that, he went ahead and sent one of his men out to take care of it, which he did and at no cost to me. Now that is true customer service and why AES is company well worth considering

Josh, the person in charge of my project, was terrific. Very high standards for the work and willing to take the time to get it right. He took good care of my home and I felt very comfortable leaving him and his crew in my home while I went about my day. Both projects turned out beautifully! There was a problem with a leak in the sunroom roof after the job was completed, but AES came out and fixed everything quickly and professionally. I have worked with contractors in the past who disappear once they have their final payment. AES couldn't have been more responsive or professional. The mark of a good company is how problems are handled - AES made sure I was happy and treated me like a valued customer

The crew did an excellent job cleaning up when the job was complete. The workmanship was great and the addition looks wonderful. I highly recommend AES for all building jobs. David Hill was our designer/estimator. His view of our project was excellent as he designed the large window view and also listened very carefully to our desires and needs, making sure all were met to our satisfaction. We were further impressed when Mr. Munson, the owner, stopped by before and after the project was complete to ensure our satisfaction with the project

Within a day, David came to my home to look at my project. He was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. He handled all of my concerns, and after spending time with him, I really felt comfortable with doing business with AES. I was very impressed with the free 5 year labor warrantee. (I didn't know companies would offer such a guarantee on what they do). I am glad that I chose to hire AES and, I look forward to working with David, and the workers again. He was honest, and worked h****** our behalf. The men doing the work were also very knowledgable, hard working, and made sure to clean up every day.. (My wife was very happy for that). I recommend AES Builders to friends and neighbors, and will definitely hire them again

"Rich Campbel came out to give us an estimate on our remodeling job and out of the 3 companies we contacted, he had the best ideas and price. Coastal's staff came out and started work and while it took longer than I anticipated, the workers cleaned up after the work every day and left the room spotless.

<br /> Payments were broken down in 4 separate payments and we paied as the work progressed and milestones were established. They had to build out the wall, break the foundation concrete to properly lay drain pipes for the new bath shower and repositioning the toilet.

<br /> We personally went to Home Depot and purchased the vanity/lights/faucets and towel racks and things. Their contract plumber brought in the shower and the toilet as part of the flat rate package. WHich is too bad because we would have paid more for better models other than the builder grade. There are minor things that still nags me, which is few nail holes that are bulging out of the wall, sink drain gargles when water drains (Poor venting), and really cheap model of shower head... but all in all we are happy with the work they did. We have a functioning bathroom. We will look to use them again in the future home remodeling.

"They came over in March but we haven't begun the project yet. It's supposed to start the first part of next month.

<br /> They've been great. That's one of the reasons we chose them over the others even though their prices were higher. They walked us thru a process that they others did not. By walking thru I mean they actually took us to the granite store and helped us pick out some granite pieces. They walked us thru the back splash and what type of edging to put around it.

"Working with Charm City Home Improvement, and in particular Todd, could not have gone better and I am extremely grateful that I chose them. I had three quotes from different contractors and his quote was very reasonable. However I chose him because out of the three, he was the only one that didn't make a big deal about the vision I had for my kitchen. The other two made it a huge deal to move certain pipes around and move the appliances around in the kitchen whereas Todd knew exactly what I wanted and said he could do it without any problems. He then did just that and it turned out great and always came up with great solutions for certain things I was looking for (for example, he knew I wanted to hide my washer/dryer that is in my kitchen, so he was able to install sliding doors to hide it).
<br /> Charm City Home Improvement was extremely efficient and did all the projects quickly for me. Everything was done on time and there were never any gaps in construction since he knew I wanted to move into my condo as soon as possible. Todd communicated with me very well and everything he did came out even better than I imagined. When he ran into a certain problem, he would call me and give me the options, and then he would give me his suggestion on what to do. He was also very patient with me when I came up with new things for him to do. He would never complain and have them done the next day until I was completely satisfied with everything in my condo.
<br /> Also, the workers noticed my ceiling was a little damp and thought it may be from my A/C unit (which in fact it was). After that, I could tell Todd really cared about my entire condo with the fact that he noticed that and told me I needed to call a HVAC company. Then he patched the ceiling and repainted it for me.
<br /> Charm City Home Improvement did a wonderful job and did everything I asked. I would recommend them to everyone and very happy I found them.
