"Within a day or two of our inquiry, owner/manager Kyle Hodges was here to evaluate our problem and give an estimate for the work he discussed with us. Although we live in a townhouse, the record-breaking Maryland rainfall and the slant of the front lawn toward our foundation had caused serious water build up at our foundation and threat to overflow into the basement.. For several weeks we had been bailing rainwater round the clock from the trench that had formed at the front of our home and using dozens of paper towel rolls to absorb water. Kyle saw the seriousness of the problem, brought his co-worker Matt who would do the work to help plan their project and scheduled a date. Matt was excellent and very thorough. So far the work they did has solved the problem successfully, and we look forward to their return in the spring for more corrective landscaping. "I called JES Foundation Company for a free inspection of my crawl space. I was concerned about a crack in my foundation wall. JES inspector Richard Sheman Showed up to inspect my foundation. He sent a text with the time of his arrival. He was pleasant and on time. He went into my crawlspace and inspected the crack in the wall and stated I had nothing to worry about. He was very knowledgeable about the foundation and itâ  s structure. He explain to me how I could fix the superficial settling crack and save a bunch of money. "Chris of Culpepper and Sons Contracting, LLC, came to my home the day I called to analyze and discuss the 3 trees that needed to be dealt with in different ways. One tree had fallen on my neighbor's yard after hanging in her trees for over a year. Two were dead and on my property in a wooded area. I had asked if 24" sections could be cut for the rock oak and most of the cherry, (keeping a small amount for myself stacked in a pile), and then delivered to my nearby sister who burns wood for heat in the winter and it was arranged. Four hardworking men came with chainsaws and 2 Ditch Witches that were amazing to watch haul these heavy sections of wood to their truck parked on the street. Six hours later - all done. I am happy with their clean up afterwards, too. I recommend this tree service company."

"Decorus did a great job of building a brick wall and grading the yard for additional level surface. This was a safety issue for my grand children who might have rolled down into the river on such a steep grade. The decorative & Functional fence did not obstruct our waterfront views. Both teams cleaned up nicely. They even blew the mowed grass on our sidewalk which was not their responsibility. Thanks to the crew."

I found them through Angie's List. The actual quality of the work was poor. They were friendly and easy to work with; I liked the people, it just the worked s*cked. The basement still is not dry. To get a higher grade they could have better quality of work. For $8,000 they came out and installed a sump pump and did not install an outlet or even run an extension cord. This was in an investment property and they never even tested it to see if it would work. The concrete was not smooth and the cracks were not filled in. They did not do a good job. It was no better than it was before.

We had our front porch, steps and patio redone: old concrete demolished and removed, new concrete installed, with new stucco on the foundation, and white vinyl railings installed.
