Kyle Hutchinson

We were contacted by Kyle after his dad passed who was our regular mason. Kyle advised us that he had taken over the business. We had a quote from his father and Kyle showed up and started to up the prices on us. We were able to work it out. He then said he would be at our house to start the work at 0730 and did not show up until after 0845. He spoke to my husband and stated that he had to add to the cost again. He tried to get $40 from him at this time. He only stayed about 30-45 minutes and then left. He left a cement mixer. My husband left him a message that we were not going to take his offer due to the issues surrounding the increasing prices and the unreliable times he was giving us. He never called us back until the following week. On his way over, he was argumentative with my husband. Upon arriving he did not bring back materials he had taken from our house to color match. He was telling my husband he was going to "punch him". He was told to leave and come back with our stuff at which point we would give back his mixer. He then said he was going to bill us $150.00 for wasting him time. I would NEVER recommend this contractor to anyone. Unfortunately he is also using his father company name (Hutchinson Masonry) and number to garner business. His father was an amazing Mason. We have had nothing but issues with Kyle Hutchinson.
