However, the color of the mortar used differed from that in the rest of the brickwork, so at present it stands out. Sixpenny said to wait a period and then re-evaluate whether any change should be made. I would rate this as an "A" but for the color difference in the mortar that was not expected. I recently got them to give me an estimate on rebuilding the top portion of a chimney that needs brickwork. They inspected the chimney, told me it was safe to use, and gave me a very reasonable estimate for the chimney rebuild, saying that it can wait until spring if I wish.
