Signed up for $99 cleaning of air ducts and vents. When Josef arrived, he said that the big truck was not available but that with his long brush and small vacuum cleaner, he could get my ducts cleaned. He proceeded to do so. Then he asked to see the furnace. When he came back upstairs, he showed me some photos on his phone purporting to represent mold in the furnace. I have no idea where my head was at that day, but it didn't register that he was going to charge me an additional $1,444 to take care of the problem. So he sprayed some stuff into the furnace (or did he?) but $1,444 worth? I was scammed and I am thoroughly disgusted.

I was scheduled for the job between 10am and 1pm, but was called at 12:45pm by a sales representative to tell me that the technician is 30min away. When the technician came, did not have shoe covers and he thought he would just walk through the house with dirty shoes. Once he started the job, he asked for the step ladder. Well, I thought they would bring all the tools they need. What if I did not have the step ladder?! I asked a day before if they would take pictures of the ducts before and after, they confirmed they would. Actually, they took pictures of the duct and vent openings and not deeper inside, which leaves me not knowing the work was done properly. Now, I need to have a camera placed inside the ducts to check the work myself. During the work, there were small mold areas on the HVAC unit that he wanted to clean for additional $571, which I refused. Overall, I did not like their approach and work. I will update this review once I check the ducts with the camera.

They did a great job cleaning our ducts and sanitization. They gave us a great deal for everything. The only negative thing is that they forgot to clean our dryer vents after I specified that we wanted that done. But, after letting them know, they came back the same day and cleaned them.

They did not take any photos to show proof of completed work. When i asked them about it why not. I got no reply.

Mozes and Miguael did a great job. On time,cleaned up everything,explained what they were doing and how to be safe. They discovered mold in the HVAC,showed it to us before and after cleaning.Even worked around our 3 year old as he napped. We will call on them every year to clean our ducts. I was very impressed with Safe House services today. The technician (Max) on time, professional and knowledgeable about work project he was doing. He completed the process and gave me explanations of how to further maintain the areas that he worked on. He was also instrumental in pointing out another significant issue that I was not aware of and pointed me in the direction to have it fixed. My thanks and appreciation for a job well done. Dion

They scheduled an appointment. The day before the appointment they rescheduled for later in the day. No big deal but the day of they kept to the old schedule. I was quoted $199 special for duct cleaning. I asked what other services maybe needed besides the basic cleaning and was told only if there was some problem with my system. When the tech came he pitched me a sanitizing for $180. Would have been nice to know before. As it was I could not afford that addition immediately. I will say the technician was nice and polite. Further he did not leave my home a mess which was a present surprise.

Never again. I have used vent companies for years. I recently moved to a new area so used Angi to find them. They were very professional and responsive on the phone. At first. Day of service their â  techâ  flew through my house like he was running late for his next appointment. He blasted music the whole time which I could barely hear over the machine that was INSIDE my house. My house stunk like cat pee when he was done. He said, just leave the windows open for an hour and it will be fine. He damaged almost all of my new vent covers/screws. (my home is new construction they were the first people to ever touch them) screws are missing, half screwed in and vent covers are bent. He left drywall dust mess in my house. He used my bath room to â  wash his faceâ  and left hair all over my sink and floor and splashed water all over the vanity. Despite having several hand towels and paper hand towels in the bathroom, he did not clean up after himself. I reported all of this to the company and exchanged several text messages withâ  Davidâ  and no one ever came to make repairs. They did not even offer a discount or apology. He totally ghosted me. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Ever.

Technician was awesome, friendly, and early! Noticed mold that was probably contributing to my family’s allergies and was able to clean/sanitize it at a great price in a short period of time. Will definitely be using this team for our yearly cleaning needs!

Adam was fantastic. He answered all of my questions and explained the process. He also gave me great tips as a new homeowner on how to maintain the system.

Adam was a great tech who came on time, did a great job, porivided me with education on best ways to preserve dryer vent and the proper way to install an air filter. He left the vents clean and cleaned up the dust before he left.

Very communicative. They weren't able to make the initially scheduled time, but they called me in advance to let me know as opposed to having me wait all day and waste my time. This is the reason why I had to start looking for a new company. The previous company kept rescheduling even after I would confirm with them the day before my appointment. On the day of the appointment, no one would call to let me know that they wouldn't be making the appointment, and each time I would have to call them only to find out that I wasn't scheduled.

Tom did a terrific job taking care of our dryer vent situation. He very clearly explained the issue we had and how it was addressed as well as advising us about what to monitor moving forward. His approach was customer centric and he was a pleasure to deal with.
