"Mr. Thomas, Dwight and crew performed the level 2 chimney inspection (only/no sweep requested) and repaired the brick/masonry of the chimney, including repacing the flue liner and repair of the chimney box. They provided literature, kept me highly informed of status, arrival, appointments, and work progress. They also completed a beautiful job on my neighbor's chimney rebuild/replace. The work looks really great and it is apparent that Mr. Thomas, Dwight, and the masonry crew take pride in their workmanship and quality. The job was completed within 2 days and so far, everything is looks fantastic. Waiting for a cool day to crank up the fireplace. They also provided a professional lamination card and pen for reminders of next year's chimney sweep. "I've used American Professional several times at various houses I've lived in or owned. They are an honest and professional company that does good work and stands behind it. I recently got them to give me an estimate on rebuilding the top portion of a chimney that needs brickwork. They inspected the chimney, told me it was safe to use, and gave me a very reasonable estimate for the chimney rebuild, saying that it can wait until spring if I wish. From my experience, they will do everything they can to satisfy the customer, whether it's a simple chimney cleaning or custom work. This is the best chimney company in the DC area by far."

"Community Chimney responded immediately to my request through Home Advisor to schedule a visit to our home to provide a free estimate, and was onsite within a few days to assess the job requirements. During the visit, Sergio pointed out several items that he felt I should consider in scoping the job, all of which were sensible and appropriate. Their proposal detailed the cost of each phase of the work so I could down-select tasks as desired, The total proposed cost and estimated time to complete the work were very reasonable, and represented a much better value than what was proposed by estimates from other companies I consulted. After the start date for the job was postponed because of weather-related reasons, Sergio put more crew on the job than originally planned and completed the job in a single day (on Saturday!), without decreasing the scope of the job or increasing the cost. The company drilled-out and replaced approximately 40 spalling bricks from the face of our two-story home, including some that were very hard to access, and rebuilt the top of one of our chimneys after removing an old television antenna. They also installed stainless steel covers on each of our two chimneys, Afterwards, Sergio walked around the job site with me pointing out what they had done and where. The work was pleasing in appearance and complete, and all debris was picked up and removed from the property."

"They were great. They had a cancellation and came the next day to close our damper and cleaned the chimney at the same time and only charged us for the cleaning. Then they fit us in a week later to seal a crack at the chimney top. They gave us before and after pics of everything. They were punctual, professional and experienced and I recommend them highly to anyone looking for chimney services."
