"Very good - just needed my bathtub re-caulked and some tiles replaced/fixed. He did a great job, blended the new tile in with the old so you cant tell the difference. And the total came in under what I expected."

Customers say: Quick response

"Did excellent work on a small job - finding and repairing a leak and internal damage it caused to ceiling and walls (drywall). David was very courteous and responded rapidly. Finding the source was difficult due to several possibilities nearby, finally was tracked to a crack in a sewer vent pipe hidden from easy view. David's response and service was professional and accomplished in a timely fashion. And the damaged area now looks like new."

"I ordered the gutter tune up service from angel list. First, Chuck (Head Technician) called me to confirm if he can come one hour earlier so that there will be enough time to complete the work before rain. Which is very nice. Second, after quick inspection, he showed me photos around all the problems identified for gutter and roof, and allow me to make decisions before the work starts. There are no push at all, after I saw these photos, I decide to add up the roof tuning service (mainly some caulkings here and there) . And the price is reasonable. Then, Chuck spent more than one hour on the roof, and of course, showed me the photos after the work applied. Overall, I am very happy to the service and liked Chuck's positive attitude & spirit, and of course his professionalism."

"I have to say that Vitali and Rueben worked very hard the entire 3 days they took to complete the job.  Vatali was the supervisor and was very open and understanding to my preferences for the job.  After the first day I had a relatively minor problem with the way the bricks looked and I could tell Vitali wasn't happy either.  He absolutely knew how to fix the problem. I wasn't sure it would work but he was and he made it happen. The quality of the mortar repair wasn't exactly the level of professional masons but I didn't expect that either based on the price they gave me. Which was very reasonable. And I didn't need excellence. Nonetheless the quality was good for sure. I feel a company is good if they are willing to work with you along the way.  That is worth gold.  Vitali also did a great job answering my questions and keeping me updated.  Finally he is the kind of guy that will fix something small as he goes even if it isn't part of the contract but because it is relatively easy for him to do. He is smart and hard working and takes a lot of pride in his work. If you hire this company I suggest asking for Vitali.  Rueben is a good hard working helper. Although he is young he has a great attitude and could tell he wants to do a good job. And he does do a good job.  He spent 3 days climbing up and down ladders and working at very high heights and I never got any sense he had any problem with the work. In the end they both made sure I was happy with the job and did not hesitate to make a few fixes I asked for at the last minute.  They went over and above when cleaning up too. Which I feel is a sign of a professional. I was lucky to get 2 excellent workers.
I also have to compliment the office staff.  Before I signed the contract Natalia got clarification for me on several questions I had about the estimate.  I decided to visit the office to sign the contract and see the operation.  I was pleased with the professionalism I saw there. At the time, 4 office workers were busily working at their desks and on the phone addressing the needs of the business. Natalia took a very thoughtful approach to adjusting the contract and signing along with me on the changes which gave me my initial confidence in the company. Asked for a copy of their insurance certificate and she produced it in minutes without hesitation. Afterwards, I had a few exchanges via email with Irina and Ana in coordinating the mortar color and type.  The exchanges were professional and I could tell they were taking a thoughtful approach in satisfying me.  I really believe this company is very customer focused. In many ways you see they are running a transparent honest operation: they promise 100% customer satisfaction, they are member of the BBB, they reply to complaints in what seems to me to be a positive way. It seems they are trying hard to build a business on customer satisfaction and that is not something you see everyday."

Caulking Services questions, answered by experts

While handypeople do not need to be licensed in many places, you should only hire insured pros for any home improvement work. Your handyperson should have active liability coverage that protects them and you in the case of an error or accident. Furthermore, if they have employees on your property, they should also have workers’ compensation insurance. If you hire an individual or a company that is not insured and they damage your property, have an accident while on the job, or become injured on your property without insurance, you can be held financially liable.

The cost to hire a handyman can vary, with most charging on a per-hour or per-project basis. On average, expect to pay between $50 and $150 per hour, with a typical rate around $90 per hour. For project-based work, the average cost is about $400, though the total can range from as low as $180 to $1,500 or more. Some handypeople may also require a minimum flat rate, such as payment for two hours of work.

Several factors influence the final cost, including:

  • The type, size, difficulty, and complexity of the job

  • The amount of time the work takes

  • The handyman's experience level

  • Your geographic location

  • The cost of materials and any necessary permits

  • Accessibility of the work area and potential travel costs

Additionally, you may encounter higher rates or extra fees for emergency services or work scheduled during holidays.

Almost all houses require soffits. The exception is in houses where you know without a shadow of a doubt there is adequate airflow throughout the entire house including, and most importantly, the attic. Almost all modern homes have soffits installed whether you notice them or not because on most homes, the roof eave extends beyond the walls of the home, naturally creating soffits.

There are a few advantages to hiring a handyperson as a contractor, namely that they will likely charge less for their services since they don’t have as much overhead. A handyperson might also have more flexibility and be more involved in your specific home project, so you can communicate with one person instead of a subcontractor team.

Absolutely, they tailor their approach to address individual requirements, ensuring satisfaction on every visit.
