"I had done some initial internet investigations and decided to go with Masters. They installed my stove within a week. There was some problems with the unit upon installation and they fixed it right away "
"American Professional Chimney installed a gas fireplace that is both beautiful (looks like a real wood fireplace) and warm. They installed a gasline that was done a very professional way, burying the line underground. Stephen and his team did an impeccable job, clearly explaining the pros and cons of the many options. Super happy with the service."
"Much better than expected. They confirmed appointment, arrived on time, worked quickly and quietly while keeping work area neat and clean. I would definitely tell friends and family to use Chimney Tek at 512 Crain Hwy N Suite 16 in Glen Burnie, MD 21061 phone 410-796-8450. Tori the receptionist is very helpful. Jon Chance and Trey are professional and hard working."
"Installation went very well. Oct 25: Rob Figliozzi came out to evaluate the work needed and brought two workers to install the sink faucet and drain/trap. He determined what parts were needed for the tub/shower and ordered the parts. He texted me when the parts came in 3 days later and Chris Hanes came out to install. Chris is a very pleasant young man and did a great job with the installation, and Rob was very helpful and responsive. Highly recommend."
"Freedom Fence and Deck will always be our go to company for any fencing needs! This was our second time using them and just like our first fence install they did not disappoint. From their super knowledgeable sales team (Brian), to their install team, and even their owners (Steve), they all played a part into why they are Maryland’s #1 Fence and Deck company. We had nearly 500 feet of fence installed (50% on a severe slope) and not only did they do an amazing job but they were able to complete everything in just two days. If you’re looking for a reliable company that ensures every project (big or small) is finished to perfection, I would highly recommend checking them out."
"Custom Works built a beautiful composite deck that really enhanced our backyard. They were exceptional at communicating and providing answers to our questions throughout the entire process. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for installing or updating their deck."
"After visiting several design and build companies for the construction of our patio, we decided to go with Mike and First Impressions. Our backyard sloped dramatically across the rear of the house. Other companies seemed to want to bring in fill material to raise lower sections. Mike suggested that we use the slope and dig in more than one terrace connected by paver stairs. Mike was very patient with us in choosing our pavers and tweaking the design. He worked with us to incorporate all of the features we wanted and maintain our sightlines of the US Capitol. When the crew arrived, I was amazed. They brought 12-15 guys that worked together through sweltering heat from 7AM to after 6PM everyday for six days to get it done. The work is beautiful and we'll be enjoying our patio all year (thanks to the fire pit) and for many years. As for the finished product, check out the pictures!! Thanks, Mike and First Impressions "

Fire Pit Installation questions, answered by experts
Generally, an oil furnace is considered safer than a gas furnace for several reasons. While both types of furnaces can produce carbon monoxide, a leak in an oil furnace is easier to detect due to the smell. Oil furnaces also don't connect to a gas pipeline, which reduces the chance of a fuel leak. Most importantly, heating oil is not combustible, whereas natural gas is highly flammable. This means there is a much lower risk of combustion or explosion with an oil furnace. However, an oil furnace can still pose a fire hazard if it tips over.
Once your ashes have fully cooled, you can place them in a heavy-duty trash bag and put them into the bin with your normal trash. If you have wood ash, you can add the ash to your composting pile or sprinkle it over your grass or plants directly for added nutrients.
Regular inspections, using dry wood, and installing chimney caps help maintain efficiency and safety.
Recessed lights, as with any kind of light, can be a fire hazard if not installed correctly. Because of this, it’s best to have a professional complete the installation for you. Properly installed lights should not pose a threat and often have heat sensors installed in them that turn the light off if the temperature gets too high.
To stop a smoke alarm from chirping, you must first determine what the device is alerting you to. If your battery is out or has been removed, simply change the battery and the chirping should stop. If it does not, try resetting the alarm, checking the breaker, or calling a professional to take a look.
