"Well. The work took longer than I expected but was also more complicated. The previous owners of the house had attached their very heavy microwave oven to the cabinets on either side without doing any reinforcing. So, when we had our new roof put on a little bit prior, apparently it knocked some things loose. The handyman had to first figure out what exactly happened and then was able to build things up so that the microwave and the cabinets were properly supported"

The job grew larger as demo began and turned into a job requiring the rebuild of exterior walls, demo of concrete slabs - basically the house had to be rebuilt from the ground up.
