"It went really well. I needed two large rooms done (removing carpet and installing laminate floors I had already purchased). I had put in a request on Angie’s for a quote and I received a call right away. Mario was able to come over the same day and give me an estimate. It was almost half of what I had received from other floor install companies. They were able to schedule me in right away. And the job was done in one day. The floors look great! No complains."

"

We were thrilled about the paint and repair job that Goode Design Painting did in our Great Room and kitchen.  The room is enormous 30 x 40 with a 30' peak which needed drywall repair.  Not only did they repair all of the drywall cracks and nail pops that we identified but they found at least 10 times as many and repaired them as well.  The crew was courteous, professional and punctual.  When we mentioned that we could still see brush strokes after 2 coats of paint, they came back the next day and put on another coat of paint with no questions or hassles.  The job took 3 days and both my husband and I needed to be at work - I was worried about this but after day one, I realized there were no issues with leaving the crew in our home.  They were very respectful of our house and I was thrilled that they cleaned up every evening after they were finished.  They even vacuumed the rug in the great room that had been covered and made sure there was no drywall dust left on the floors or countertops. I would highly recommend Goode Painting - this is a company with integrity!

"They did a great job.  Originally received a quote from Matt, the owner, in Spring 2014.  Matt said that my roof could potentially wait a couple years before replacement, but at a minimum, I should replace the boots around the various vent pipes because they were cracked.  Because I didn't have any problems at the time, I decided to wait a year.
In Spring 2015, called a couple vendors back including Matt to revise their quotes.  Matt's quote was inline with others, but offered a slightly better value given a few small differences.  Matt came by the house to address any questions and I signed the contract.  He had information in hand to answer any questions that I had.
Work was scheduled to occur within a couple weeks.  On the scheduled day, there was a slight chance of rain in the afternoon, so they decided to hold off a day to ensure that my house was protected.
Actual workmanship was excellent.  The crew that did the job worked a long day (~12 hrs) and got almost everything done in the single day.  They showed up the next day to finish the job.  The crew was courteous and attentive to detail.
They did a great job cleaning up any debris that was left.  They rain a magnet around the house several times to get any nails that may have fallen.  We've got a lot of bushes / flowers that surround the house and they did a great job in watching out for the plants.

"Excellent!! Highly recommended!! My father was a carpenter for 40 years, and when he came and looked at the work they completed he said, “I think you got a really good job” and asked for their contact information. They were responsive, great w/communication, hard-working- and really made my backyard into a beautiful space. Overall a superb experience, and I would recommend them without reservation to friends and family. Thanks so much!!"

Epoxy Flooring questions, answered by experts

It costs between $600 and $8,400 to stain an average-size concrete patio of around 300 square feet. The wide price range accounts for intricate stains that incorporate multiple colors and stenciling, high-end sealers, and special touches, such as stamping or concrete polishing. Prices can also vary if you need to make multiple repairs to your patio before adding the stain and seal.

Mix the resurfacer into a sticky mixture. The consistency should look like mashed potatoes. Use a squeegee to push the resurfacer across the pitted area and smoothen the surface with a cement trowel flush. Make sure you protect any expansion joints with a weather strip. Alternatively, cut out any resurfacer that touched the joint once the mixture begins to harden.

While concrete is durable, it’s also a porous material, meaning that spills can damage the material. Not only does sealing safeguard against this issue, but it can also reduce the risk of mold and mildew.

You can’t paint a foundation like you would the walls in your home; there are a few extra important steps to take. Instead of just busting out the paint, you should clean the surface and fix any impurities before grabbing the brush. Using a paint sprayer to apply sealant and primer will ensure you have the perfect canvas to apply your chosen paint color.

Yes, you can seal old or existing concrete, but proper preparation is crucial. The concrete surface must be clean, dry, and free of any incompatible old sealant. To check if an old sealer is present, drip a few drops of water onto the surface; if the water is absorbed in under five minutes, it's ready to be resealed. If you plan to use the same type of sealer that was previously applied, you may not need to remove the old layer. However, if you are using a different type of sealer, the old one must be completely removed. Before applying the new sealer, thoroughly clean the concrete and repair or fill any cracks to ensure a smooth, well-prepared surface.
