"Once again Wolfe, Mottola & Sons came through. I had a roof with some major wind damage resulting in leaks in a tenant's bathroom. It was the first time I had made a claim for a roof, and WM&S made it very easy. Linda was terrific setting it up, (even while she was on vacation!) and Todd answered all my questions along the way, again, very patiently and thoroughly. The CertainTeed Lifetime Landmark Pro Architectural Shingles look solid and come with a 10-year transferability warranty if you sell the property. I look at roofs now when walking around and the flashing, corners, ridge vents, bay windows, roof line, ... all of it looks solid with clean lines. I don't have the worry anymore about any leaks or issues for my own house or tenants. It's awesome. Thanks Linda, Todd, and everyone at WM&S... again."

"After soliciting proposals from several asphalt paving companies, not all of which even bothered to respond, we settled on Rafferty Paving.  Sam was responsive, showed up on time, and took a great deal of time to explain what he felt needed to be done to repair/repave our driveway and why certain things needed to be done.
Sam stated up front that he wasn?t the cheapest, which is true, but we were very impressed with Sam?s detailed description of the work he would perform, and particularly impressed with Sam?s attention to detail, not just from a functional perspective but also from an aesthetic perspective; he noticed issues that others did not.
In addition to repaving the driveway and replacing sections of it, where necessary, Sam created a paved parking area; importantly, he addressed water runoff issues that had been degrading our driveway and I?m pleased to say that those runoff fixes seem to be working beautifully.  The project was fairly large due to length and grade of our driveway, but Sam and his crew completed the job in two days; we were thrilled with the final product.  We found Sam to be knowledgeable, professional and attentive to our concerns.  His crew worked hard and did a great job of cleaning up after the work was done.
While the proposal we got from Sam was the highest in terms of price, I?m confident that the additional cost was worth every penny in terms of quality, and product delivered.  We intend to use Rafferty Paving to seal our driveway next year, and would most definitely recommend their services to customers who are looking for a first class finished product.

"I had bathroom subflooring and flooring replaced. I was very pleased. I received a prompt response to my initial inquiry. The cost was fair and reasonable. The work was performed within a matter of days. The contractor was flexible and communicated well when the expected unexpected things came up. No mess left behind. I would hire again and recommend"

Epoxy Flooring questions, answered by experts

Unlike paint, concrete stain won’t peel off. Instead, the color absorbs into the surface of this porous building material. While it doesn’t peel, the stain only penetrates the top layer of concrete, and as the top of the concrete eventually wears away, so will the stain. However, this process is much slower than paint peeling, especially on low-traffic surfaces.

A concrete seal can protect your garage floor from water and stains as can an epoxy coating. The main difference is that epoxy is much more durable and better for heavy-duty wear and tear—it’s used in more industrial and commercial settings. If you’re just using the garage as storage for tools and your car, concrete sealer will do just fine. But if your garage doubles as a workshop for side projects and auto repair, epoxy will hold up better.

Yes, you can seal old or existing concrete, but proper preparation is crucial. The concrete surface must be clean, dry, and free of any incompatible old sealant. To check if an old sealer is present, drip a few drops of water onto the surface; if the water is absorbed in under five minutes, it's ready to be resealed. If you plan to use the same type of sealer that was previously applied, you may not need to remove the old layer. However, if you are using a different type of sealer, the old one must be completely removed. Before applying the new sealer, thoroughly clean the concrete and repair or fill any cracks to ensure a smooth, well-prepared surface.

Yes. So-called “floating” cork floors can be installed over concrete subfloor, though a polyethylene vapor barrier is required. This type of installation is achieved using the glue-down tiles, which are trickier for a DIY approach, so consider calling a professional to help you if you’re planning to install your cork floor over concrete.

You should sand concrete before painting, as it helps remove any irregularities and pieces that stick out from the surface. This not only helps the paint look better but it prevents any unwanted water absorption.
