"The problem was the foyer layout. The ceiling was very high, but the ladder that they guys brought could not fit because of the way the foyer was designed. They tried several ladders and when those did not work, they went to back to the office. When the ladder they brought from the office, did not work they went to Home Depot and rented a ladder that would work for the space. They were determined to get this light up and for that I would hire them again. They were professional, clean and even though frustrating to finish the project because of the ladder situation, they made light of the situation and got the job done. Once the rented the ladder, they were able to put the light up in less than an hour. I found the cost to be high considering that it did not take them long to put up the light. However, considering their efforts to make sure the job was done, I didn't mind paying the fee and I would hire this company again."

"It went very well. I called to ask for an estimate to install a chandelier in my vaulted ceiling where there was no existing box. They came out the same day. Alex had everything he needed on the truck and was able to do the job the same day. He did a great job, and I could not be more pleased. "The experience went well right until I was quoted a price for ceiling fan installation.  Customer service reps and the electrician were polite and professional.  Electrician showed up during service window, and customer service called me a half hour before his arrival.  However, I was incredibly surprised when the electrician told me the installation of the ceiling fan*** would cost just short of $700.  He said he may be able to do it for ~$670, but that'd be the lowest he could go.  I passed.

***Ceiling fan in a room where there was no existing ceiling fan, light fixture, wiring.  Light switch existed in room, connected to a wall outlet.  

The reason I was so surprised was because (2 years prior) I had hired this company to do the exact same job in an adjacent room.  During that job, there was additional electrical work done in another room at the same time.  The charge at the time was considerably less. 

Further, I provided all details about the service over the phone on more than one occasion. The electrician quoted the price of installation off a price sheet.  Instead of me being given an estimate over the phone, I took a half day off from work just to pass on a much higher price than what I had paid for the same work on another occasion.  In the future, I will look for another company for any electrical services.
