"I highly recommend Five Star Bath Solutions. They are first class, outstanding company that did wonderful job for me. The quality of their work was excellent, and their price was excellent. I did a major master bathroom upgrade (completely new shower, new soaking tub, new Wayne's coating). I got quotes from several competitors and Five Star Baths had by far the best design solution, the best materials (their Sentrel product had a far better look and feel than their competitor's acrylic), and a surprisingly lower cost. I was the most impressed with the quality of people I worked with from the sales person (Patrick), to the owner (Rob), to the designer/installer (Bo), to the office manager (Brittni). They were all very skilled, very experienced professionals, and wonderful to work with. I had tough schedule, and they went out of their way to accommodate me and get the work done on time. "John E. Ruth company remodeled our basement bathroom several years ago (about $7000). They completely gutted the old bathroom and rebuilt it from scratch. The work they did was first-rate and the bathroom still looks beautiful.
After superstorm Sandy, we had them come back and install a water-powered backup sump pump as well as cleaning and lining our old sump and replacing the old electric pump. The backup has worked flawlessly on the few occasions when the power was out and it came on.
However, last week, there was a problem with the pipe leading from the main sump pump. Over time and with much use, the coupling worked itself loose. Fortunately, John E. Ruth sent out a plumber, Charlie, within an hour after I called them and he came up with a permanent fix to the problem.
The supervisor (Jim Arnold) agreed that we did not owe them anything for this repair because they had originally installed the backup pump.
Overall, we have been very pleased with the work they have performed and they stood behind their work when it counted. Also, they responded very quickly to our emergency. We would definitely use John E. Ruth plumbing again.

"We had a great experience with A R Crowell Plumbing! We knew the project of replacing our water main pipe would be expensive, but A R Crowell beat out the competition with their pricing! They even handled all the permits that were needed with the county. The day came and there were complications not originally foreseen, and the entire team handled it well. There was an additional charge for the new work, but that was already stipulated in the signed contract. No hidden fees, no trying to sell us a contract or things we did not need. We will definitely use them again! As a side note, I will say that the communication could improve in some areas, but I will honestly take a fair price with excellent staff and quality work over some slight confusion any day.
