But we went through Angi this time and the pro we chose, Omar’s General Contracting, was definitely a hit. Omar was professional and communicative. His crew was great. On time, very tidy, reasonably priced, flexible, and a perfect finished product. We hired them on Sunday and they started on Monday. In two days, Omar and his crew were able to basically rebuild our entire eat-in kitchen ceiling following a large plumbing project. I honestly think it looks better now than it did before the work. Quick communication and the best price of the 4 bids I got for my 20x20 garage ceiling drywall repair (replacing a 4x4 section, taping, mudding, refastening other loose Sheetrock and retaping/remuding other loose tape elsewhere on the ceiling). Jacob, the co-owner came out for the estimate and did a great job on the repair. Professional and funny, he discussed options, arrived on time, finished quickly and cleaned everything up afterwards. Couldnâ t be happier."

"The job went very smoothly. Todd came by on a Friday and swapped out the hardware. Rico came on Saturday and re-glazed the tub. It looked great. About 10 days later, there was a definite problem with some of the caulking around the tub. Todd came out the same day I called and re-caulked the problem area. Dealing with Charlie over the phone was a pleasure. I would highly recommend this company, and will definitely do business with them again."

"The work exceeded my expectations. The roof needed to be replaced and one whole wall was rotted out. He replaced the roof, used pressure treated wood for the walls and support boards. He also used tyvek. The repairs were higher quality than the original install. He even fixed the stuck latch. I was impressed with the careful quality work! Would definitely hire again."

"Manny was very quick to respond. He stayed in contact with me during the week to ensure I understood what I was paying for and he wanted to ensure he understood what I was requesting. Communication was key for me because it showed he valued me as a customer and he wanted to do the job. The painters were right on time at 8:00 and did exactly what was needed. I needed 2 bedrooms painted and had some patchwork needed from shelving that was on the wall and a black design on a wall that needed covering up. While I wouldn’t say the job was perfect (there is some paint on the ceiling and baseboards, which I wish wasn’t there. I like even painting without smudges or runoffs from the edges) I’m not nitpicking. There was some cleanup left behind for me, but very minor. Very professional and nice and I’m glad I called! Will probably use again. I have 2 bathrooms and a bedroom next on the list."

"Steve came out on time and was very professional and overall just a nice guy.  He assessed the damage and confirmed that there was mold. He tested for moisture and felt that there would be minimal damage beyond replacing the cabinet. I appreciate his sincerity in advising us to use a handyman or similar service to replace the cabinet since his company focused more on the restoration and cleanup and our need for those services was minimal and would be more costly.  I also appreciate that he tested a few other areas in our home where we had had previous leaks to test for moisture and water damage. If we need restoration or clean up services in the future, I will definitely call KJS.

"The owner was meticulous when performing the work on our porch renovation. Installed insulation on the ceiling and walls, ship lap on the walls, tongue and groove ceiling in a herringbone pattern. Installed a third electrical outlet. Painted an accent wall, trim around windows and door. Installed an exterior door and laid a new carpet. We couldn’t be happier with the results. We have more work around the house and will definitely be calling on Bluesky when we’re ready to move forward. Thanks to Roland and his staff."
