He then began his trouble shooting and before he started actual repairs, came in and explained what he had found, how they related to the problems I described, and his recommendation on repairs (replace one capacitor, keep another through rest of cooling season, and reattach one wire that had come loose). He suggested we get a complete system check at the beginning of next season to determine remaining life of compressor and if/where a coolant leak may be. He felt current system should make it through the remainder of the season without problems.
