We told them we were concerned about our exposure to silica, a cause of potentially fatal silicosis, and they said they “did not care.” We have been breathing it in for days and they have not been using water, air monitoring or any other steps to minimize hazards. I'm fairly particular and wanted to be involved in the project, probably more than most clients, and Sean worked with me throughout to get the porch I wanted. He was communicative and explained pros/cons of all the various options. Partway through the project, we realized our pre-existing front porch needed some repairs too, and Sean seamlessly added that to the project and was very reasonable on the price. Once the team started, the work went quickly but was clearly done very carefully.
