"Berith Builders did a fantastic job on our basement project. They turned an unfinished basement into a fantastic space. Deane was a pleasure to work with. He is honest, reliable and has a great sense of humor. We hired a number of contractors over the past year (we completely renovated a house last spring) and I would rate Berith as the best contractor we have worked with hands down. The work he and his subcontractors did was excellent and they went above and beyond expectations. I highly recommend them."
"After doing much research I hired John Krause Construction for a very large project: Sunroom addition, deck, patio, front hardscape and landscape with design of my entire house and yard! John came out personally and was very honest and his pricing was fair. They did an amazing job taking my vision and making it a reality. The crews were efficient and responsive. I will use them in the future."

"I had a great experience with this contractor. They came when they said they would to give me an estimate, the estimate was reasonable, and after collecting two others I chose them. They then came to repoint my chimney when they said they would, they did the work in the time they said it would take, and the finished product looks great. They also cleaned up after themselves thoroughly. The job was probably a little more complicated than usual because my air conditioner units are at the base of the chimney, but they navigated around them without any apparent difficulty. I am glad I used them and I would do so again! "
"I had a leak in my roof. One estimate was $22,000 and they wanted to do my windows which were not a problem. Another estimate was for $5,000 with no guarantee. K&R came over, diagnosed the problem to be flashing that had become lose, and fixed it in less than a half hour. They also looked at the roof and told me it would last at least 5 more years, possibly more, I am now in my sixth year. They also explained some new type roofs that were coming out that could possibly also convert light into electricity and later e-mailed my information on those roofs, but not a sales pitch. Their price was so low I actually argued to pay more. Will I use them again, d*** right. And I will tell anyone who needs a roof or roof repair about them. "
"This job was part of a whole house painting job the company did on a single family house I was putting on the market. It has two levels of hardwood floors, 15 windows and one patio door. There is a kitchen and two full bath an powder room. The crew did a great job, especially with the professional range (Wolf 36") and range hood (Vent-a-Hood, 900 cfm) that saw some heavy cooking over the past few years. They did miss two windows. I'm sure if I pointed out in time, Amilcar will work on them. But given the great job they did overall, I have nothing to complain. Amilcar is very responsible and responsive. It was a pleasure working with him."
"They were very prompt in responding to my call, giving an estimate and completing the job. I told them that I thought I had a possible leak in my roof and wanted to have it repaired before the painting started. They assured me that they could look at it and fix it if necessary. They did this and painted very nicely! I would highly recommend Polyzos and am pplanning to use them again in the future. "
"They have always done a top notch, professional job and have performed on time and within the estimated costs. I have no qualms about recommending them for almost any type of work in the house. This work took place as a number of separate tasks over a two to three year period and they consistently performed high quality work at a reasonable cost."
Fascia and soffits differ in their location and design, but fascia vents are the most popular alternative to soffits. These are a bit more hidden than soffits, but depending on the structure of your roof, they can cost more to install and maintain. They are also installed around the entire roof, whereas soffits can be placed only where you need them or, if the aesthetics bother you, somewhere out of sight.
For many people, a gazebo is worth it, but it’s a matter of personal preference. If you love spending time outside but your yard doesn’t offer much protection from the sun or rain, then adding a gazebo might be worthwhile. Or, if you enjoy hosting dinner parties and want a nice outdoor space to gather with your friends, a gazebo could be a good investment.
Yes, many gazebos are permanent structures built onto the land. However, if you have a portable gazebo that isn’t secured to the ground, you’ll want to check the manufacturer’s instructions to understand when to put it away. Generally speaking, when it’s particularly windy or wet outside, you should take down your temporary gazebo.
To make the gazebo accessible, you can build a wheelchair pathway leading up to it. The path should be paved with a smooth surface for wheelchairs to roll through. A low curb should be placed along each side to ensure the wheelchair stays on the path. At the end of the path, build a wheelchair ramp connecting the gazebo.
Log cabins are relatively difficult to maintain compared to a traditional house. That’s because log cabins require regular upkeep and care that can include refinishing and corncob blasting, a process similar to sandblasting that shoots ground-up corncob with compressed air.
