Thank you for your feedback. I am happy to find out that you think our work is fine, but I am not happy with you being unsatisfied with the process. Let me take the time to apologize to you for the part of our process that did not meet your expectations. Since what we do is work on older homes, this often results in surprises during the job that in turn result in delays and hidden costs. That is the nature of our work, so we try to make the process as smooth as possible. I would like to extend two thoughts to you that may help. First, to encourage you to feel comfortable dealing with us again, I would like to extend a credit of $250.00 on your next job. I would also like to have a crew come over to see what we can do about any remaining nails, possibly using a magnet wheel for the steel nails. Please call our office to schedule. Thank you for your kind consideration. John Dickinson PresidentService Provider Response
Dear [member name removed], I am sorry to hear that you had a less then perfect interaction with my company. It seems that some things went OK and others not so much. It is our company policy not to write a "formal estimate" up on every job that we visit but to leave a price on a business card. Our experience over many years is that this process has worked. Our estimators see many jobs and we want their time dedicated to the visit, not paperwork. If in the future you need an expressly written and typed "formal estimate" this would be generated and typed from the office. Please request this at the time of the estimate and, if we cannot do that for you, for what ever reason, then you will know up front. We want you to feel secure with the price and all interaction with our company. I can assure you we have been in business in Baltimore for many years as a General Contractor who performs all sorts of home improvement work and that we care very much, and we always want you to feel good about your experience with us, Again I am very sorry, but thank you for bringing it to our attention and we will try and learn from the critique. At Window Nation, we know replacement windows. We’re third-generation window replacement experts who have been lucky to provide homeowners replacement windows, siding, and doors for over fifteen years. We opened our first showroom in Maryland in 2006, quickly growing to serve homeowners in cities across the country – and we’re not stopping there. We’re grateful for every homeowner who has trusted us to upgrade their most important asset: their home. We’ve learned a lot about home improvement over the years, but the most important thing we learned isn’t about window replacement. We learned the home improvement industry isn’t about offering the best windows, siding and doors; it’s about the relationships we build with our customers.
