"They are literally the best service I’ve ever used or seen. I honestly dreaded going to my back yard because it looked blah. After Dinora finished cleaning it up, I actually hugged her and wanted to set up a hammock and hang out there for the first time since I bought my house three years ago. I had no idea my yard could look that amazing. I cannot say enough good things about their work. It brought me to tears when I saw how amazing it looks now. I will never call anyone other than William and Dinora ever again. If I could give them 10 or 100 stars I would do it. I have pictures of the before and after and it doesn’t even look like the same place. I am more than happy to share pictures or provide references if needed, as soon as I stop dancing at how happy I am."

Blind Cleaning questions, answered by experts

In general, shades and blinds are the most common window coverings used today because they create unobtrusive, sleek profiles that fit into any space. In addition, blinds and shades are extremely easy to use. Most operate using either a pull system or wand. While most blinds and shades sold by retailers are available in a wide range of sizes that are made to fit standard windows, customers can also order custom shades and blinds for windows that are hard to fit.

Although it’s essential to clean your blinds every month or two as a best practice for keeping them dirt and dust-free, professional blind cleaning is often a more practical way to go. One significant benefit to having your blinds cleaned professionally is the overall saved time, as cleaning them yourself can be time-consuming. Other benefits include:

  • Ensuring that dirt and dust, which can cause health issues in those with sensitivities, are fully removed

  • Increasing the life expectancy of your current blinds to save money on replacements

  • Ensuring that your blinds are cleaned thoroughly and correctly, as blinds can be complex

Aim to dust your blinds once a week and deep clean them monthly. This routine will help you tackle all the dirt, dust, and grime before it becomes a stuck-on mess. If you’ve been meaning to stay more on top of your cleaning, a daily, weekly, and monthly house cleaning checklist can help.

Some fabric blinds are washable. Be sure to use your machine’s gentle setting and review the manufacturer’s cleaning instructions first. You can also bring fabric shades to a dry cleaner to get them clean without any damage.

The main categories of window coverings are shades, shutters, curtains, drapes, and blinds. However, consumers today have dozens of options within these categories when it comes to everything from materials to the technology behind how window coverings operate.
