"The whole experience was wonderful! Calvin Lee came to our home to measure the space and provided exactly what we asked for as our remodel design. Jason and his crew worked very hard to complete our kitchen as quickly as possible while doing excellent work. Christian always answered question and addressed concerns as the process went on. Jason followed up each evening to let us know what would happen next. They arrived on time each day worked full days. We got all new cabinets, flooring, countertops, lighting and paint. We couldn’t be happier with our new beautiful kitchen!"
"We were new to the Baltimore area and just bought our home and it needed some work. We had 5 companies come and give us estimates for a new kitchen and new flooring for our family room and entire top floor. EZ was the only one that was willing to work within our budget and did an AMAZING job. I honestly can't even believe how they did it. It looks gorgeous. Jerry really cared about making us happy. We're renovating our basement next, hopefully soon :), and EZ will be our contractor, period."
"The owner, Shaun, visted our home, talked with us about the design, made measurements, and a few days later provided an estimate (including a computer aided design). After signing the contract he began work within two weeks. Shaun estimated the job would take about two months and it did. Shaun was always available and made good suggestions along the way (and without charging extra). His subcontractors are very courteous and all workmanship was excellent. Shaun does not provide an allowance for bath fixtures and floor covering (we used ceramic tile for the entire basement). However, he does provide an estimate and can suggest suppliers he works with. We used his suppliers who were very helpful and allowed us to use Shaun's contractor discount. This was one of the best remodeling jobs we've ever experienced."
My name is Robert Congedo president of KMA Associates, Inc, I have the following licenses: Class A Virginia, Maryland contractors, Maryland home improvement, Montgomery contracting, PG county contracting, Calvert Co contracting, District of Columbia contracting, land disturber certified from Virginia. I have over thirty years of experience from building houses in all price ranges, in all of these areas. I spend a lot of time on every job to make sure things are done right. I build one at a time. All my estimates are free and depending on the detail are exact prices. I have never increased price on any project without the owner's approval in writing.I also carry over two million in liability insurance . I can find lots in any area and have available architects to help design your home.
"I was very impressed with Sentri Homes - their customer service was excellent. They sent a subcontractor to install some vinyl laminate in my bathroom and he ended up getting glue all over the carpet in our bedroom. The sub ended up ghosting both me and Sentri, leaving me stuck with a ruined carpet. Sentri stuck with me for over a month to get the carpet replaced with the identical original and to get the vinyl job 100% completed. The carpet was a Home Depot exclusive and Sentri handled everything with them. I will be using Sentri for a much bigger renovation I have coming up soon, because I know that they will make sure everything gets done right no matter what problems come up. The vinyl looks great too."
"I am very happy with the new room converted from the garage. The builder went out of his way to make it all happen. I would highly recommend America's Remodeling Group for any project you are considering. He kept in contact and was completed timely. Estimates were correct. I would hire them again for another project."

"American Home Contractors did an amazing job on 2 projects in my home that not only make the house beautiful, but also will save me money in the long run. James did a great job of providing me with the necessary options and information to make an informed decision about my purchase of new windows and new door. He was very communicative and professional, providing a detailed estimate...which other companies I received quotes from for the same project failed to do. I knew exactly what I would be getting and exactly how much each part of the project would cost. I had such a great sales experience with James, I decided to have them replace my gutters as well. The work was done quickly and looks fantastic. I'm very pleased. When it came time to replace my windows and door, both James (sales) and David (installer) called me to let me know my parts arrived and scheduled a convenient time to complete the project. David's team came in early and worked extremely efficiently to complete the project in a matter of hours. They were very clean to the point you would not have known there was work being performed on my home just a matter of hours previously. I will continue to recommend this company to anyone who asks."
The early stages of building a house are harder than the later stages; laying the foundation and framing the house are two of the most challenging steps. However, it varies for everyone. Some people have difficulty installing HVAC, plumbing, and electricity, while others find it harder to plan the house and secure the necessary permits.
Ultimately, a work warranty is only as reliable as the contractor you’ve hired. That’s why trust and reputation are such important factors, in addition to having a solid contract and confirming appropriate licensing, insurance, and bonding. When looking for a contractor, it’s a good idea to read online reviews and ratings to see what kind of experience past customers have had. Issues with your contractor can make for an unsatisfying renovation process, but a reliable contractor can make the process go as smoothly as possible.
Hiring a reliable home builder is an essential task, but there are a few questions you can ask a potential builder to ensure you they are trustworthy and up to the task:
How long do you expect the process to take?
Are you fully licensed and insured?
How much of the work will you subcontract?
Will you pull all of the necessary permits for the job?
How long is the builder’s warranty you include with your work?
How do you handle resolution for issues I might have with the finished product?
How much experience do you have?
An A-frame home can be cheaper to build than a traditional house, but that is not always a given. Prices can be fairly similar in some cases, depending on the location, design, and necessary site preparation. Costs for an A-frame typically run between $100 to $200 per square foot, which is comparable to the cost of a traditional home. The cost of an A-frame can come in under those numbers if you opt for a prefabricated kit.
Modular homes are cost-effective, energy-efficient, and faster to build than traditional homes. They also offer customizable designs.
