Since the home’s basement primarily consisted of a giant crawl space, I was told Don would do the job. Ultimately, the day before the scheduled inspection, I couldn’t get ahold of Don. Bob said Don was “feeling sick,” so the job was off. Frustrating, but a blessing in disguise because we ended up going with Colonial Restorations (the home was built in the 1800s). The project was extensive, full bathroom remodel, removal of out dated electrical in 75% of the house, and finishing the basement to be a new living space with full bathroom, bedroom, mudroom, and laundry room, which included a new HVAC system, new plumbing, and significant structural engineering. Scott worked with me to develop an overall design and was open to ideas and questions and did a great job incorporating my wish list of ideas into the design, while providing insight and recommendations based on his years of experience. He was able to accomodate the design needed for additions in my 1949 Cape Cod style home, as well as redesign on the interior. He lived more than an hour away, but was willing to travel out to my home for measurements! This was a huge plus. He was able to coordinate the printing of blueprints, so I could pay for them and have them sent to my home, since he lived a distance away.
