"I Highly recommend Brendan of Avery Masonry. I had a contractor coordination dilemma, between tiling, surround rebuilding, plastering around the surround to create a new fireplace look. I also had issues with my oil flu liner. He saved me from contractors overselling work that didn’t need to be done and those contractors that where not able to handle all parts of the redesign. He rebuilt and repointed my upper chimney, waterproofed it, and installed an amazing new wood burning fireplace, that we are loving! He came out to the house, estimated the job for free. His price was thousands less than the competitors (others charged $250 just to come out and estimate) Duran was professional, honest, clean, hardworking and affordable. "They inspected the chimney from up on the roof, something that the chimney sweeps that had been cleaning the chimney since 2016, when we first moved in, had never done. They took pics and showed us how the lining of the chimney was collapsing and it had been in this state for a long time. So in addition to cleaning the chimney, they also replaced the lining inside it. It was an expense I didn't expect, but we use the fireplace a lot and it needed to be done."
