New Floors Inc provides huge variety of flooring services, starting from existing floor removal to unfinished hardwood floor installation, sanding staining and finishing. We provide both services and materials. With over 15 years of experience, we have dealt with almost all flooring materials, manufacturer and can provide any consultation if needed.

"We are very pleased with the work performed. It was done on time for the quoted price, and the results exceeded expectation. Alex's crew moved all the heavy furniture to the basement (and back) for a very reaonable price which was a big factor in our contracting decision. We highly recommend their services."

Trefler's has been owned and operated by the Trefler family since 1921. It all began in Germany, when Abraham Trefler began a small business for himself building and restoring furniture. Abraham’s son, Eric, was one of the few survivors of the camps in Poland and Germany during WWII. Upon his liberation, he left Europe for New York, and finally settled in Boston, MA. After spending some time working as a furniture restorer for the antique dealers on Beacon Street, he opened his own business. Using the expertise he learned from his father back in Germany, he quickly became renowned for his uncanny ability to restore almost any kind of art object. Today, Trefler’s is still owned and operated by the Trefler family. We expertly mix century-old techniques with modern restoration technology to create some of the best repairs in the world. No project is too big or too small for us to work our magic. Come take a tour of the studio and see what we can do to preserve your family’s heritage.

Buffing and Polishing questions, answered by experts

Standing water can lead to surface discoloration if your granite countertops are improperly sealed. However, it’s possible to remove hard water stains with a baking soda paste. Take more care with acidic liquids, such as fruit juice or red wine, which can leave more permanent stains. That’s why it’s so important to reseal these surfaces regularly.

Marble is high maintenance, like most other types of natural stone flooring. However, because it is naturally a more porous stone, there are a few added care instructions. You will need to clean it often to prevent dirt and grit from scratching the finish and surface, keep it dry, clean up spills immediately, and have it professionally sealed and refinished at least once a year to maintain the shine and water-tight surface. However, investing in maintenance is a smart move because marble floors are among the most beautiful and valuable types of flooring when properly cared for.

Maintenance includes regular cleaning with appropriate products, periodic sealing to protect against staining and wear, and addressing minor issues before they escalate.

Costs depend on tile material, damage severity, labor, and whether refinishing is required.

Quartzite countertops are porous, meaning that liquids can seep into the stone and stain them. You’ll need to seal them before installing and resealing annually, depending on use and stone material. Sealing will help prevent stains and etching. On the other hand, you don’t need to seal quartz and other engineered stone countertops since they aren’t porous.
