Did a great job. Replaced damaged hardwood floors in two rooms and made other helpful recommendations. Would recommend Viking Floors.

They did a nice job to start but we are now noticing that there are globs of poly all over the place and stain all over the baseboards. They also didn't complete the job. They acted like they were going to come and finish but they never even showed up. No call or anything. It's a shame because I chose this company based on the feedback on Angie's list.

As an update: Eric from Viking Floors called me shortly after this was posted and apologised.  He is willing to fix the problem in any way that we would like  The phone call and extension of service is appreciated.

Great service from start to cleanup.

Eric came soon after we called to give us an estimate and scheduled us based on a timeframe we requested a few weeks out. During that time he got busy so he called ahead and asked if we could push it back a week which was fine with us. Since it was a white wash he put down the stain and had us come check it out before he applied the poly. It was gorgeous! We are so happy with the finished product - the floors are the star of house! I would definitely worth with Viking again!

Absolutely outstanding!  Not only was this company the cheapest, the finished product looked better than it did when first installed!  I could see my reflection in the floors.  The color and reflective properties were absolutely consistent throughout the house.  It was a masterful result!  If I ever have a floor resurfaced, there is no question who I will be calling on again!

They were GREAT!  They gave me an estimate for each floor.  The following Wednesday they arrived at the specified time.  They moved all the furnitre out of the room, sanded, cleaned and polyuritaned a first coat.  Then, heated the puddle on the other floor, and was able to get it up.  They came back Thursday and Friday afternoon, sanding and coating the floor each time.  Two thresholds needed attention that wasn't in the initial estimate.  Both were repaired at no charge.They came back Monday, (11/14/2011) putting all the furniture back into the room, hooking up the flat screen TV and hanging the closet doors.

Eric came on the day he said he would with his dad who works with him. They went to work quickly,did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. They came back the next day for the second coat of polyurethane at about the same time. They came back the third day in a snowstorm and did a light sanding and put on the final coat. They were in and out quickly the second and third day and once again cleaned up after themselves. I would recomend them highly. They will come when they say they will and do a great job at a fair price.Isn't that what we are all looking for?

Viking Floors did an awesome job of bringing the tired, dirty, scratched floors in our new house back to life and looking fabulous. The crew that worked on our house was clean, respectful and professional. We couldn't have asked for a better company to do the floors and we are hiring them to do the floors in our old house once our other renovations are completed.
