"Not a happy customer, very disappointed with the outcome. The mold remediation was contained to a 12 x 24 bedroom and was limited to surface mold (mostly furniture) caused by condensation and humidity. The carpeting was also removed & discarded. The total cost was very expensive ($4,250) for what ended up being 5 hours of work. This is over $800 an hour! Here are a few things we were not happy about; 1. There were plastic barriers taped to the walls during the process which caused the paint/plaster to be pulled off the wall in several areas. Now we have another expense to fix this problem. 2. We had told Kerry to leave us the dumpster for a few more days (since we had paid for it up to a week), but he went ahead and told the company to remove it the following day. 3. We found additional mold on the closet baseboard that had been missed and we needed to clean it ourselves. Needless to say, we do not recommend this company."

I had them do a quote consultation and testing for a mold issue and asbestos abatement and they were prompt to make room in their schedule to fit us in and kept every word of their agreements throughout their Process. Chris Coopee did a fantastic job reviewing reports needed plus conducting a physical inspection of the property for mold in order to produce an informed accurate quote. He also is knowledgeable about asbestos abatement and conducted some testing at the site for us. Not only did Chris do a perfect job, but he turned around the ask in a tight timeframe due to our needs related to a real estate closing. Ann at the main Abide office fielded many questions from me throughout the week and was always pleasant and helpful. "When I called the mold company for my lab results. They gave me a person named Ricardo Echeverria, Senior Mold Analyst to call for the results. He verbally told me that the cause was something like a remodel, construction going on. There was a red flag for a VOC called Methylene Chloride--Banned outdated paint. I sent Ricardo and email asking if I can have a report of what he said in writing. I only received a contaminants list. I said, I am not a scientist and do not understand the lab results.I never received a response back from him. I called Jeremiah Bancroft a few times and asked for a written explanation of the causes. He could not supply me with a written explanation because it was a legal issue. I asked for his help. I need your help. Jeremiah said, go to your primary care for a doctors note. That was the last time I spoke to him on September 19, 2024"

"Wes and his team saved us from a terrible situation! We recently had our bathroom completely redone by a contractor who we didn't really know, and the work wasn't done well. We called in Wes, having worked with him several years ago to tile our kitchen, and he came by to take a look. Thank goodness he did! After his initial assessment, he knew right away that our "new" shower was likely leaking, and that there were multiple issues with both the tile and the structure of the shower itself. Wes coached us through buying the materials that we would need, and drew up a contract to get going on the project as soon as possible. After demolition, the problems really became apparent! All kinds of leaks, CUT FLOOR JOISTS, and other incredibly sketchy shortcuts from the original contractor. Wes walked us through the best strategy to fix everything and his team worked diligently to correct all of the issues and tile the shower beautifully. We will be working with Wes again for many more projects, particularly fixing the floor in this bathroom, which was also a hack job. He has been professional and courteous in all of our dealings with him, he shows up on time when he says he will, answers all of our questions truthfully and in depth, and he cleaned up after himself at the end of every day and at the end of the job, which is always a huge bonus! Thanks to Wes and his team for their hard work to get us the shower of our dreams, and save us from a mess further down the line."

"This review is from a seller where an inspection was performed. The heat was not shut off after the inspection and my family and I walked into 90 degree temperatures because the heat was never turned off when the inspection was complete and it was on for 7 hours until we got home. In addition the mud room has a thermostat and electric heater and that was also left on high which we did not realize until the next day. In addition, to prove a point to a potential buyer he forced a hole through the wood in our detached garage reporting that there are signs of water damage. The garage is from 1930, there has been water in the garage especially when we had the hurricane last year but they could have just written that in the report not damage our property to prove a point. Coincidentally, the same inspector came back with another interested buyer and yet another piece of wood was pulled off from the garage. If that is not bad enough, the same inspector gave confidential information from a previous inspection to a new potential buyer which led to another buyer terminating the deal. I know this as our lawyer communicated with the potential buyers attorney and said that the inspector passed on information about a previous inspection he did at our house a week earlier.. in addition, our neighbor and friends were outside during the outside portion of the inspection and they heard the inspector give the potential buyers and their real estate broker information about the last inspection and what the other potential buyers said. So much for confidentiality."
