"Gil from NE carpentry did a lot of work for me. The most impressive was that Gil worked with me to repair my interior front porch after a massive leak during a storm destroyed it. Because my house is on the beach and very exposed, every other contractor declined the job. Gil and his team were very rigorous and patient and they did succeed in waterproofing the porch. They did rebuild it and did fantastic work. The team communicates well, is always on time, does a great job and always clean after the workday. Their prices are very fair and transparent. "The entire job from start to finish took three months... not bad for a hundred year old house. Plumbing and electric work was very reliable. They also have a very talented woodworker who was able to reuse much of the original wood to repair a window sill, trim, and baseboard. Whenever we had any concerns they were addressed promptly and to our satisfaction. They also had a beautiful selection of cabinets and granite counter tops to choose from. I signed a proposal to have Duncan Builders take care of the contract work and I needed to build at my salon. They moved a bathroom door from one wall to the next. "As part of the process, they had to move a very large pile of firewood. He moved it and put it back as it was before. He also had to work in an area that was new grass and he left it looking just as it was before the job. It was nicely done and he cleaned up well when finished."
