"hired Chimney and Duct Experts based on their reviews on Google and Angis list to address a potential problem with a roof leak near my chimney. They quickly determined the flashing of my chimney was probably the reason for the leak, so they gave me a quote to rebuild the chimney flashing for $1300. They were able to do the work that same day, which I thought was great. However, the leak continued, so I moved on to roofers to help figure out the problem. I had 5 different roofing and repair companies come out, and each one said that the flashing on the chimney was terribly done, using a sealant instead of metal step flashing as is standard. I called back Chimney and Duct Experts and spoke with a supervisor. He agreed to come and redo the flashing, but insisted that fully rebuilding the flashing is only done when you get a new roof. Ended up being incorrectly done again, and I'll have to pay someone now to fix it correctly."

The owner Bernard was very thorough and explained the job in detail The young man who actually repaired the step did an outstanding job, he was very meticulous. During the afternoon the owner noticed that the chimney did not look good near the top. He took a ladder went on the roof to check it, and he found pieces of stone fell off. I really appreciate that he did that, as I had no idea there was a problem. Bernard really pays attention to each detail, and makes sure that the job he does is perfect. He also put off completing another project, so he could complete mine. He also has a warranty that if something happens to the repair, he will fix it. Thank you very much Roxann "
