We found them very dependable. They were fine. We had no issues about for the whole process. They cleaned up every day before they left. What we didn’t like was that they replaced contract while the work was still going on but I assumed that universal.

bad tp buy here. once you walk out are on your own. been without a stove for two months. faucet has no pressure. fan doesnt heat. if i had taken their great deal price to privately owned appliance they would have matched price and given me a new one that day

My only complaint with Home Depot is with finding someone for help on the floor. Never-the-less, it's a great store for DYI home maintenance needs.

The reason I didn't want to go with them was because they wanted a deposit of the estimated cost before they even came out to look at it. That's when I said no. They did respond to us like it was a small job and they were willing to do it and that was good. They were helpful but not every single employee I worked with was especially knowledgeable. I think it's worth a look.

We used Home Depot to replace our carpets in all floors and all rooms. Home Depot did an excellent job in communicating who would be replacing our carpet and when they would be doing that. It was a little difficult to reach out to the third party to get details on timing and carpet delivery etc. And there seemed to be some confusion on whether Home Depot or the third party would have some of the information. But overall it was a very positive experience. Our carpets looked great and we were very happy with the price. It was a good price compared to what other vendors offered for the same quality carpet.

We got lucky and got an extraordinary design consultant. She was very helpful walking us through all the decision making. She actually made it fun, which was a big surprise! She was very professional and friendly. They subcontracted out the work, and that went very well. Their contractors are obligated to do the job in a more prompt fashion to eliminate delays.

We decided not to do the project so it wasn't their fault. They were very good. The guy that came out was very good and he knew his products. If we were going to go ahead and do it, we would have picked them. There was no charge for the estimate. They had good products. They use only people that do windows to do their installations. There were several choices for windows. We could have done vinyl or wood and double or triple paned. They had a variety to choose from. We are not sure we want to spend the $15,000 to do it right now but we might down the road. We got an appointment right away and he was on time.

Carpet Installation
Carpeting took two weeks to arrive at installer (had been told 7-10 business days). Installer, American Carpet South, called promptly and was able to schedule our job right away on my preferred date. The two installers, Carlos and David, arrived on time, worked diligently and did a terrific job. We are extremely pleased with the results. Only negative was an error in the original estimate (they overestimated charge for removal/disposal of old carpeting by including all rooms when only 2 needed old carpet removed; I caught it and they revised the price satisfactorily). I'm not sure, but I believe this was due to an inexperienced sales person who was not very familiar with the computerized order process.

Horrible experience. They took the old door away without removing our alarm hardware. The trim they brought was pine, not a match at all to the rest of the house. We needed to call them up to replace the trim and fix the molding. Not sure how you can instal the lock wrong...but they did. All in all wouldn't consider using them again.

I had them install the mid-grade doors. They did a good job installing the doors. The frame they built around it (after telling me that they would build a beautiful frame and charging me an extra $125 after the original agreement) was poorly done with just squared off, rather than mitered ends. But the doors work well.

Sales: The sales rep was knowledgeable, no-pressure, and friendly. Although he did make a $600 error on my quote. Installation crew: a team of two installers arrived on time, explained what needed to be done, and started installing the windows. They removed all of my old windows, insulated the counter-weight pockets, and installed all 17 windows the first day. They returned to install the vinyl clad aluminum window frame wraps on the second day. Follow-up: Only one of the window sashes needed to be replaced, but only because it was missing the divided light inserts. This was replaced within a few days of the installation. A couple screens were damaged (cut) during installation, but were repaired on the spot. Job site: Acceptable, I suppose. A certain amount of dents and dings on the interior window stops are unavoidable. I will have to do a little touch up painting. They could have been more careful about cleaning up aluminum scraps outside.

I FOUND THE STAFF IN THE CARPET/FLOORING AT THE MARLBORO HOME DEPOT TO BE FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. ALTHOUGH THEY ARE PRETTY BUSY AND THERE CAN BE A WAIT, THEY MAKE AN EFFORT TO TAKE CARE OF THE CUSTOMER. ONE TIME I WAS WAITING TO SIGN A FORM AND AS THEY COULDN'T FIND THE FORM I DECIDED TO JUST HAVE IT FAXED. WHEN THE SALESPERSON, GWENN, WAS DONE WITH HER CUSTOMER, SHE CAME LOOKING FOR ME IN THE STORE AS SHE FELT BADLY. WHEN AN ERROR WAS FOUND ABOUT THE PRICE, GWENN FIXED IT. THE ERROR, IT SEEMS WAS DUE TO AN INCORRECT PRICE BEING ATTACHED TO WHAT I ORDERED. THEY WERE GREAT ABOUT IT.
