"The Target team was really extraordinary. They brought very talented preparation people to the job for starters -- anybody that paints knows this is the most critical step! The caulking, careful sanding and scraping, the carpentry to replace any rotted trim (I had some, so it was convenient they had the carpenters right in the company). Then into the painting, and here Target really distinguished themselves. We changed colors and went semi-gloss on the trim (requires a little more skill to apply it and have it look great in the end). The guys worked incredibly hard, you can tell they take a lot of pride in what they do! They also did my deck which needed a lot of work. In the end? My house looks AMAZING. Caulked tight, great new colors, incredibly skilled painting. They communicate really clearly throughout the whole process, they even have a quality check at the end by one of the veterans just to walk the whole job, review everything and make sure that I as the customer was happy. This is a great company, I can't recommend them highly enough."

"I had some minor carpentry work done along with the exterior of my house (including trim, gutters and downspouts, shutters and garage door) and an inside wall in my house that needed to be muddied, primed and then painted. The exterior included power washing the house and caulking every area that needed caulking and that was extensive. I can only repeat all the 5 star reviews and if I could give Ozy and his crew more stars I would. When I called to have Ozy come to my house for an estimate he showed up exactly on time the date that we set (something I've found doesn't happen on too many occassions!), sent me an estimate exactly on the date he said he would (which again doesn't always happen) and his price was extremely fair and I hired him. He and his crew did an OUTSTANDING job and like Gregory said, went beyond our expectations. Ozy has a great eye for detail and doing things that I didn't see that needed to be done but did. Our house was done in 3 days and each day they left the house one would never know workman had been there. He also helped my boyfriend install a curtain rod that my boyfriend couldn't have done on his own, at no extra charge even though it took almost another hour of his and his associates time. "Cosme and his crew work very hard and will work with your schedule. They installed composite decking and railing to an existing deck substructure (footings, frame struts, etc.) that required reinforcement to stabilize the deck. We also requested solar post lighting, which really enhances the nighttime looks of our new deck. They clean up after each day of work and offered valuable information to help us decide what was needed to have the deck that we wanted while staying within our budget. I would recommend DC Carpentry LLC without hesitation, to my friends and family!"

The K-rod painters were all extremely professional, arriving on time every day and leaving after a long day's work. They cleaned up after themselves each day, putting their materials away neatly and vacuuming away dust and debris. As each room was started, the team made sure to cover the floors, windows and door openings etc. in order to minimize dust and prevent spills etc. Each room was then properly sanded, caulked and prepared. The team then painted ceilings and trim by hand before moving to the wall colors. Several coats of excellent paint were applied, before final touch-ups were made.

The team also stained the ceiling of my portico, and the newly installed stair rails and stair trim. During the staining process, I expressed some concern about the color of the stain (which my GC had selected). I thought it was coming out too dark. The K-rod manager changed his clothes and took over the job personally. He sanded and refinished the rails and treads to my satisfaction without a word of complaint.

Now that the job is completed, I am extremely pleased with the results. Their work is excellent, and they are a professional and courteous team. I will use them again and I have no hesitations about recommending them to anyone...
