We had to work though a few challenges with roots from a big oak tree that we wanted to save. He wad very helpful and open minded and we came up with a great option. He is coming back to do a walkway and backyard patio. His price was fair and there were no additional charges. I would highly recommend him."

We had to repair a large area in our cobblestone off-street parking space after a tree had been removed and the stump ground. Did a beautiful job re-laying cobblestones, and cleaning up perimeter areas and boundaries with flower beds. Crew of 3 worked hard for a day and a half. Very flexible as our ideas about certain details of the job developed as the work went on."

"I spent a lot of time trying to find someone that could replace my front steps. Getting someone to actually call back was the first challenge. Then, trying to find someone who does everything we wanted: granite steps, faux stone facing and sides, white railings, and the ability to tear up and lower my walkway then redo it to make the first step 7” was an even bigger challenge. We finally found the right guy/company and we are very happy with the results. Walter Santos of W. Santos Construction did it all for us. He started within days of us accepting his proposal. He was kind, communicated the next steps with us well, and the quality was fantastic. I was outside tonight taking photos and a family was taking a walk stopped me to ask who did the steps because “they make the house.” I took some dry and wet pics after the dust was washed off and I’m very happy with the results. Beyond the sheer amount of labor required, you need to have knowledge of yard grading and drainage so that rainwater doesn't puddle on your new patio.
Without sufficient expertise, you could encounter several problems, including improper placement and leveling of sand or improperly compacted soil, leading to an uneven surface. For these reasons, hiring a professional paver patio installer is advisable to build the patio of your dreams.
