Tao and his crew removed over 2000 square feet of carpet in multiple rooms and installed new white oak flooring. Tao also replaced two carpeted staircases with the same oak. Tao and his crew were meticulous on our floors and stairs, even spending an additional day to make sure our stair frame and plywood was level and secure before adding the treads and kick boards. Tao refinished the few rooms of existing hardwood we had at no additional cost and all of our new floors match our existing floors perfectly. Tao and Taozen flooring are the only company I will use on future projects. I cannot recommend them enough."

Although we faced some communication issues at the outset, we eventually worked through them, and it significantly improved throughout the project. They paid attention to detail; when my project manager saw me stripping the trim for reuse, they recommended buying new trim and a lumber yard to get it. And it makes a big difference having new trim with clean, sharp lines. Their tile work took longer than expected, but the miter cuts the trim cuts, and the finish is excellent. They were consistently punctual, respectful of my home, and very tidy - tidying up at the end of each day. While the project took longer than anticipated, the reasonable cost and the team's meticulous attention to detail compensated for it. Coen Brothers Construction also expertly handled all necessary permits and inspections, keeping me informed every step of the way.
