"Al was fantastic! He clearly explained that my fireplace was shutting off as a safety feature due to low oxygen levels. He also reassembled the logs in the firebox and showed me the proper way to start and stop the fireplace. Highly recommend his service!"

"The McBriens Fire & Flue team arrived quickly and pinpointed the issue right away. My fireplace is now working again, just as the colder season approaches! Thanks, Omar!"

"We had our chimney capped. The guys from 5-Star showed up on time, their quote was competitive (and very fair), and they were ready to do the work the same day, which they did. They did a couple of extras for us and cleaned everything up before they left. Damon sat down with us to show us pictures of what we needed done and then pictures of what it looks like now. Great Customer Service! One day - Done! And the best part: lifetime warranty on the cap! Highly recommend 5 Star Chimney Service!!"

"They inspected the chimney from up on the roof, something that the chimney sweeps that had been cleaning the chimney since 2016, when we first moved in, had never done. They took pics and showed us how the lining of the chimney was collapsing and it had been in this state for a long time. So in addition to cleaning the chimney, they also replaced the lining inside it. It was an expense I didn't expect, but we use the fireplace a lot and it needed to be done."

"I would highly recommend Avalon Masonry and would work with them again. They were very easy to work with. Throughout the entire process, they were incredibly responsive, respected our time, and arrived when they said they would. Work was completed on time and on budget. The work quality was excellent, and the cost was in line with other quotes we received."

"Mark Dunn and his crew were awesome. We had gotten other estimates to repair our chimney that were double what inner Boston quoted. They showed up when they said they would and finished on time. The chimney looks great."
