"George is an exceptional craftsman and plasterer. I am so glad we found him on home advisor and decided to hire him for this project. We needed our kitchen ceiling repaired after a leak from upstairs. We were concerned about making sure the texture matched the existing texture on our ceiling. George matched it perfectly. He was punctual, very professional, and took the time to properly prepare the area so that dust and plastering were contained to the work area. He removed kitchen/food prep items and dog dishes from the area so that they would not get too dusty. He cleaned up nicely and was friendly. Even after he was done, he made sure there was not any extra dust or plaster anywhere in the house. The ceiling looks great. It is like the leak never happened.! Which is better? The choice depends on your priorities. Drywall is ideal for those prioritizing a lower upfront cost, faster installation, and DIY potential.
